Week 1:
Today we received our assignment brief. We started to research and choose the garment that we wanted to focus on. I chose the bikini as it interested me and has changed a lot throughout times. We also focused on globalisation and I made a poster about the impact of it. I then started my timeline using Canva as I really like the way it’s displayed I got  a lot of my timeline done and just had a few things I needed to touch up on.

Week 2:
This week we visited Nike town Oxford street and also Adidas and took images of the modern technology they have in stores this will then help us to write our essays on the future of our garment. We watched many videos on new modern technology and discussed the opinions and If it would be successful or not. Today we started to focus on how to write a essay and spent time to finish our timelines. We also had class discussions about gender neutral brands and the LGBTQ community and if we can include this into the future of our chosen garment.

Week 3:
I started to collect more research for my padlet. I then also started to write my essay and planned it with ashleigh when I had my tutorial this was helpful as I knew how to section my essay and what I would be writing so I started with what I would include in my introduction then my sustainability paragraph then technology paragraph then conclusion this was very helpful for me then to start writing. I made sure to stay up to date with this blog and to keep Harvard referencing. We had a few lessons about diversity in the model industry and how we are seeing disabled models take on the cat walk. We also spoke about different shape and sizes and plus size kids range.

Week 4:
I have now fully completed my essay and went through spell checked my workers and ensured it made sense. As well as this me and my partner proof read each others and she helped me to improve my essay. I started to put together any other research pages I made into this padlet this included my essay plan, globalisation page and important links.
