The little prince asks the businessman why he counts the stars. The businessman replies saying its so he can buy more stars.
14- The little prince meets the lamplighter on the fifth planet. The little prince asks why he lights the lamp and puts it out so often. His reply is it is because it is my job. He continues his journey.
15-The fifth planet had an old man who was always reading books. He was a geographer, but he never left his desk. he needed an explorer to help him. He asks the little prince about his planet. the little prince explains his planet, until they are talking about the rose. When the little prince finds out the rose is in danger, he regrets leaving the planet. He then goes to earth
16-This chapter describes the earth compared to the places the little prince has visited before.
17- The little prince talks to the snake. The snake tells him how powerful he is and how he can send the little prince home. 
18- The little prince talks to a flower he finds in the desert, and asks them about where the men are. The flower saw a caravan once.
19-The little prince climbs a mountain to see the earth, and proceeds to talk to his echo. He decides the planet is very weird.
20- The little prince finds a rose bush, and becomes very sad. His rose is not unique, there are thousands more where he was. He thinks he is not a very good prince, as he only has a rose, and 3 volcanoes to show. He cries.
21-The little prince talks to a fox.They talk about being tamed and men. The little prince talks to the fox again the next day, "tames" him, talks to the roses about his rose, and says goodbye to the fox and leaves.
22- The little prince meets the railway switchman and asks him where the travelers are.
23- The little prince meets the merchant who sells thirst quenching pills.
24- We are now caught up to the start of the book. The little prince and the pilot looks for a well, and finds one after a day of walking.
25- The little prince and the pilot drink from the well and talk about returning home.
26-The little prince talks to the snake, and the snake returns him to his asteroid.
