Accessed 21 Feb. 2018.

The main idea of this article is that the United States leads the world with more gun –related homicides and suicides than any other country. The CDC reported in 2016 that 11,008 of 15,872 homicides in the United States were committed by a firearm. More than half of the homicides were committed by a firearm. Suicides were also an issue with firearms, 42,826 suicides reported that year 21,386 involved a firearm. You can see most of the violence and death is caused by a firearm. Supporters of gun control seek tighter restrictions on the sale and circulation of firearms.

There is no specific author of this informative text, but the source is Gale Group. The text does not have a tone but is giving important facts. The information that is given is relevant because it was written in 2017 and this is a topic that is going on right now in the world. Also I want to use this topic for my PBA. This information in the text is all massacres that have happened. One example is from October 2017 that happened in Las Vegas, Nevada. A shooter was located in a hotel and opened fired and crowd of concertgoers below. He killed 58 people then killed himself. More than 500 people were injured during the attack. After the attack gun control advocates called for the devices to be banned similarly to fully assault weapons.

This article will be very useful in providing support for my research and evidence for my argument. This article gives examples of how people question people in charge.
