'Is it appropriate of how religion is approached in Musical Theatre'

OBJECTIVES:

Need to research the Musicals regarding Religion that I don't know.

Need to research into the themes these Musicals are using.

I want to put these musicals into categories of less informative/if these musicals are stirring away from the topic of religion or if they are solely based on whichever religion/religious themes they are focused on.

Researching articles and reviews audience point of views of the musicals chosen (Parade, Cabaret, Jesus Christ Superstar and The Book of Mormon).

Mainly focusing if the writer has mentioned Religion and if they talk about how religion is interpreted in the Musicals.

Need to create the appropriate question to use for magazine article.

Within the musical theatre industry , a lot of the big musicals we all know and love involves religion.

In some ways the religious themes are easy to spot due to the musical being based all around whichever religion they chose.

Or in another way the musical has a different story line throughout the show but the 'hidden truth' or a deeper meaning to a musical is about religion.

Examples are Book of Mormon 2006 and Cabaret 1966.
