Riding a Motorcycle

Since I was a little girl, I wanted to learn how to ride a motorcycle. I thought it looked super cool! Then, a few years ago, my good friend, Sherrie, asked her dad, who was a former police officer, to take me on a ride on his motorcycle. Sitting on the back of that motorcycle and with all my gear on, I realized just how exposed I was to EVERYTHING around me! I felt unsafe and very scared! I realized that riding a motorcycle was going to remain just a dream for me. My perspective was completely changed.

When I was in 3rd grade after I saw the concert I really want to try out strings so when I was in fourth grade I joined the strings. At first it was hard for me, but thanks to Mrs. Liu I can handle it. In 5th grade I did it again but after the winter concert things became hard for me but I made it. This perspective made me that I should try it out before I can join again and again. ;)

Driving to Canada

I was 4 years old and i had thought i would love car rides. One day My grandparents wanted to go to Canada so few months passed and i was in a van, where the back seats could be removed and we used it as a bed for 3. But unfortunately since I was little I had to sit in my car seat. The car had mini screens so we could watch movies. But again. Unfortunately, I was easily car sick. If I watched anything for 5 minutes or more. I would feel nauseous. if I stayed in the car for 2 hours or more I would also feel nauseous. I was in Texas driving to Canada. Imagine how bad it went. Not even 30 minutes in I was crying wanting to get out of the car because I thought the car was a small little time out area from the lack of space I had. It had gone so horribly wrong my grandpa drove right back and I ruined it for everyone. Now I hate long road trips. - April N.

when I was 2 years I started to play soccer first. but first I had to practice a lot when I turned 5 years old. I went to my first soccer game and then they but me in and when I scored a goal. I did not know what happened because every one ran to me. I did not know why so the kids told me. when you score we are in the lead with one goal. when the game was over I was the the one that scored 5 goals. that how I learned what a goal was.

Since I came to America, I love motorcycle and e-bike. I have rides e-bike with my friend many times than we found out about Surronster a YouTube channel , I thought it was kind of boring watching him ride. But than I found out how he tell you about how he took care of the bikes he talked about the bike upgrades and everything and it was amazing, now my interest in bike have been sky high. Now he's my favorite youtuber

Ever since I was 10, I always thought I could be good at Chess, an ancient game made from India. At that time, everyone was good at it except me. Then one night, my dad challenged me to a match of Chess. I hesitated at first because I was scared. But soon after, I realized I was playing so well! After the match, (which I won) my dad congratulated me for winning and soon after I realized I had a gift. That gift was to be pro at one of the most ancient games invented. And so on I went to become the best Chess player against anyone who wanted a match against me.

when I was a little kid I saw a roller coaster it looked fun it was small but for me it looked big I saw other kids screaming so I was scared I did not go on it but when I became bigger I went to a car ride it looked like a kids ride but then it went so fast up and down it went I was screaming for my life it went up slow then went so fast down I went to side to side then when I came down I throw up on the floor next to a trash can.

When I was going to Universal Studios, I wanted to go to the mummy. It looked super fun to go on and looked super scary but when we arrived at Universal Studios and went to the Revenge of the mummy at first I was scared but when we got on the roller coaster, I felt excited to experience one of the most scariest inside rollar coaster at Universal Studios hollywood but when It went fast I was not scared but with joy and when it went backwards it was kinda scary but not that scary when the ride finished, my perspective changed and I wanted to go on the mummy again because Its fun and not scary.

Ferris wheels

One time I was at a fair and I saw a ferris wheels. I wanted o go because I did go once and it was slow and you can see the view from up high so I wanted to go, though I did went on a ferris wheel once but for me it was still new to me. As I sit on the seat and the ride started I though I was going to enjoy the view from up high like I though I would but boy was I wrong... the ride was really really fast and I started screaming. I still went to ferris wheel but now I know that not all ferris wheels were slow like the one I used to go on. and that's how my perspective changed after that.

On a Sunday afternoon me and my dad had to get ideas for me to get a hobby. When He was looking through his phone He saw an Ice skating rink! He took me there and When I got into the ice rink... Going o an airplane

When I was coming here from Afghanistan my dad said we are going on an airplane. My heart dropped when he said that. We were at the airport then were on the plane. And the plane started I thought it was going fall! a few moments later the airplane went down up down up each time they did that my stomach would go down but It was fun then when I realized we were on land I changed my opinion about airplanes now I think they are fun to go on and I would love to go on them again and I think the view is beautiful when you look out the window.

MY first communion was the best party that I ever had First we went to go get my dress we went to LA to get my dress we went to a different shop then we went to a shop and I found my dress then we went to a other shop and we found decoration for my party than a other day me and my family went to church we been there for 7 hours and we ate are food the next week we were settings thing up for the party it was on Saturday I got ready and all my family came i was so happy but there was mean kids but I did't care so I was play with my cousin and my aunt then we were eat cake it was the best party ever .

went the day i saw buldak, I thought that it is not spicy it made my mouth watery when i see people eat it. went i had a chance to ask my mom, when they day came i cooked it but did not think twitch i put the hole spicy packet after that i put it in the table and looked at it as i started eating i did no even think about it as slowly the spicy came i thought it was nothing but after my lips were red my face red like so red like a tomato then my brother suddenly laugh at me.. i drink so much water but my lips were still red and the spic was still there i went and looked at the mirror i was SO red... after that day went i cook budak i put a litter bit of spic and think twitch..

Dance

Since I was 5 years old, my mom took me to a dance school. When that I was very scared. It was just like a nightmare when I was a kid. I cried "I don't want to do this". But some power pushed me to the classroom. But my mother told me that if I danced, she would take me to Nha Trang. So I try really hard. My legs hurt, my back. When that I think that if I finish my back will die. But I have succeeded. I became a great dancer in VietNam When I was 7. My framily proud of me.

Back in third grade my sister joined a soccer team and when she got back from home she said it was fun to play soccer. and she told me to join the team. but i thought that the coach would be mean to me.Would always get mad at people that didn't do The right training. But once I went to the practice.The Coach actually nice.And would not get mad if someone else Didn't do the right Practice. And he would always teach me new things like how to shoot or dribble or even do some cool tricks with the ball. and once I got back home i told my mom if I could join the team my mom said yes. Violin

Last year, when I first came to this school. I signed up for violin. At first, I didn't know how to use it and asked my friend, April, to teach me. She thought me how to do a song and other stuff. We did a lot of other songs and fun things. Ms, Lu was a really nice teacher for music and we all loved her. We did two concerts and it was really fun to do and play for other people. Learning the violin was actually really fun and pretty easy to do. Now this year, I signed up again for violin, And we also have a kind new fun music teacher just like Ms, Lu.

Since I was a little boy, I never liked the grape jolly rancher. I've looked at it and left it in the bag or given it to my sister. Then a few months later I got curious and tasted it. After I tasted it I ended up liking it and When my sister told me to give all of the grape jolly ranchers to her I said no and she looked confused and I said "now I like them" and I started picking one by one because I loved all the jolly ranchers!

when I was little I did not look apon gummy clusters like they were not looked good it was in weird shape and when someone bit into to it and it looked gooey and weird so I said I don't wanna eat it now it looked weird and my mom convinced me to eat one and I like them but I cant eat them any more because I have braces and it will break them but they are actually good.

when I was a kid I really wanted to learn how to drive a car and I saw my dad drive and it was really cool so during the summer I was waiting for my dad at the DMV and when he came back all the cars were gone and my dad asked me if I wanted to drive and I drove around the neighbor because my dad let me and we were driving until my mom told us we have to go home so my dad took over and we got home safely. - Erin
