Congratulations, a pretty nice presentation, very well documented and summarized. You've taught ne something that I did'nt know previously, even if I'm from the city and my parent's house was near the Monastery.
For instance, the site of the monastery was a palace, where Felipe II had been living with their sisters an where Juana de Austrua was born.

Hi Almudena,
I like churros and porras a lot, especially with chocolate. But I didn't know anything about their origins and history. Both are very curious and interesting. I agree with you that any time is good to eat churros and porras. In fact, here in Cartagena is also a tradition. We can't imagine our Easter week without churros and porras. Maybe we could enjoy them together.

First of all, sorry Paloma for the delay of replaying you. Telling you the truth my first thought about Carabachel was the first comment of your video about the jail and so on, but I must tell you that my thoughts about Carabanchel have changed since I heard and watched your video.

I think it is good news that Carabanchel is now a reference not only for cultural reasons but also for music scene.

I am not very keen on art but if I have the chance why not to go to the art gallery an enjoy its piece of arts. It sounds attractive!!

Thanks for sharing your place and show me how wrong I was. if I go to Madrid, I will give it a goal.

Congratulations! You've made such a good job summarising all that information. Thanks to you now Iknow a lot of details about la Casa de Campo and its origin. I've been there once because my in-laws live in Madrid and my family and I visit them at least once a year. It's astonishing how you can find a huge place like this one in the centre of Madrid allowing both tourists and locals to attend and enjoy all the different activities offered. Next time I'll make sure we visit it again.Thank you so much and sorry for being late.

There, I’ve spent awesome moments with friends when we left the theater after watching a movie, a piece of theater or a concert in “El Real., as it was the only cafeteria or coffee shop open in the town center after midnight.

I love Goya and I think is one of the best spanish painters, who shows in fis paintings the reality of that relevant date.
I knew this day and celebration, because I am really interested about our history and I studied " The 2nd of May", an important historical event at school.

Hello Yolanda! I´ve enjoyed so much your speech about owls. I´ve spent magnificient moments with my family in Madrid but I had no idea that there was this type of overnight transportation.It´s very useful and interesting to have this transport throughout the night. In Cartagena, we only have taxis if we want to move after 11 pm.

I loved the story you told about the origins of "El Asiático"! In my case I did know what it is because I have been to Cartagena several times and it is a place I love to visit. I am convinced that the next time I go to this beautiful place, enter a bar and order an "Asiático" I will remember the exact proportions of each of the ingredients and maybe I will try one of their new versions and I wish it will be very soon.

Hello Ascension. I´m very glad to heard your topic! because I have one apartment in La Manga! so I know all you mention, above all Callblanque beach, I think it could be considered one of the most clean, safety and beauty beaches in Spain, I have to say I´m in love with this beach and its natural reserve. I practice diving in Cabo de Palos (specially in Isla Hormigas and the rest of the sea reserve), so Callblanque is a good place to go snorkelling also. The only problem in summer that you can find there is the capacity limitation (you will have to wake up soon) and sometimes the wasps, that look for the food of the bathers. Congratulations for this unique paradise!

Hi, Lourdes! I've enjoyed so much your presentation! Since I've never been there I know nothing about the Easter celebration in Cartagena. I vividly thank you for let me know about that. If you don't mind, there was a word that I couldn't understand, when you was talking about the clothing of the californios, you said "indemocho"? (1:03) As far as I understood is apparently something they use on the head...
And I was also wondering where the marrajos catched those big fish similar to sharks! Was there on the Murcian's coast? So, is there any possibility you came across one of them while swimming over there? Seems scary!

But I didn't know that he was about to die because of a shaved off!
I totally agree with you that Isaac Peral hasn't been recognized as it should be (same as it happened with other extraordinary men in our history).

I'm also very fond of history and find it fascinating whenever ruins of our ancient past are discovered, showing us the development of our history through them, as in the case of the Roman Theatre of Cartagena, which I didn't know, and now, thanks to you, I'm looking forward to visiting it.

I really enjoyed your presentation about Quitapellejos (or La Concepción), I dind't know anything about this neighborhood, nor about its name! To be honest, I have only been once or twice to the region of Murcia, but never to Cartagena. And now I'm really interested in visit your city and also Quitapellejos: hills and sea is the perfect combination! I hope its working class spirit and essence are still alive, and you are able to avoid the gentrification that here in Madrid is destroying a lot of our neighborhoods.
I was also happy to learn about Navantia and the relationship your city has with the sea.

Summing up, thank you for your window into your neighborhood Quitapellejos, I won't forget to visit it while in Cartagena!

Hello, mate!

It was a great video, I really like the way you recorded all those videos, compiled them and commented on everything! It is a place full of history where you live! I would love to visit Cartagena someday. You mentioned several hills, but the smallest, "El Molinete," is the one I liked the most, especially for its Roman forum. Monte San Jose is also beautiful one, but it is a pity that it cannot be visited.
