British Columbia uses the Canadian dollar as their form of currency. The bill sizes are 100, 50, 20, 10 and 5. This is a very important part of Canada. By working jobs, varying on difficulty, you are able to earn certain amounts of money. Without this system nobody would work jobs that help us keep a sustainable environment, for example teachers, healthcare workers, farmers, and even people who work the till in grocery stores.

Education in BC is free if you choose to go to a public school but you do have to pay tuition if you want to go to a private school. The main reason behind this is most public schools are funded by the government or through taxes and private schools operate as businesses, meaning they get their funding through students as "customers". But whatever you choose, you will still be considered by universities as there are many good public schools in BC.

BC has the highest minimum wage out of all the provinces and territories in Canada with a wage of $15.65 per hour. There are also many employment agencies that can help you get a full time job (30 hrs/week), part time job (less than 30 hrs/week), and many other types. British Columbia also has a large collection of different professions that you can actually choose from rather than being forced to do something you don't enjoy.

BC offers a large collection of social resources including community centres, club, gyms and playgrounds. Most of these facilities are free for the public to use and are situated in safe and beautiful areas. You are also offered to join many public sports teams, including soccer, basketball, volleyball, hockey and many more. But in most cases you pay to join various camps, or tryout for various teams.

The provincial government of BC is in charge of funding healthcare, education, road regulations, natural resource and much more according to the Constitution Act 1867. This government also funds many cities that have their own governments, called municipalities. These smaller governments then use that funding to create essential services for cities such as clean water, sewers, parks everything else that makes a city a working civilization.

In BC you have the option to rent or buy a house, apartment or duplex. The average price for a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment in BC is $250,000 but you can also apply for a monthly mortgage of about $11,250. The average rent in BC as a whole is $2,200. Although there are many cheaper areas for housing that are a bit far from it all but still work if you choose to live in British Columbia. Also there are many free benefits BC has to offer that make it easier to pay for housing (ex. free healthcare, education, entertainment, etc..)
