Hoy es dia de escuela y tengo nuevas classes. En mi horario primero tengo historia luego matematicas despues tengo el almuerzo y ciencia. En mi mochila yo llevo cuatro mil quinientos sesenta y ocho colones con veinte y ocho centavos para comprar una hamburguesa de la cafetería. También tengo materiales escolares, como el lápiz y un cuaderno. El dia hoy es caliente y hace mucho sol. Me voy a poner ropa corta. Cuando llegó a escuela yo interactúo con mis profesores y les digo “buenos días”. Hoy en mi clase de matemáticas tenemos una nueva profesora, se llama señora Maria. Ella nos pregunto cosas para empezar a conocernos. Ella me pregunto cosas como “que es tu nombre, cuantos años tienes, y que te gusta hacer. Yo le dije que mi nombre fue lisa y que tenía quince años tambien le dije que me gusta ir a la playa con mi mejor amigo alex. En tiempo del almuerzo yo me compro una hamburguesa. Mi amigo Alex trajo comida de la casa. El se trajo un pedazo de el pollo pinto que hizo su mamá. Cuando llegó a mi casa siempre me da gusto porque mi casa es amplia y mi color favorito, la casa es roja. Mi casa es de ladrillo y tiene dos pisos porque yo tengo mucha familia. Hablando de mucha familia yo tengo tres generaciones viviendo en mi casa. Mi abuelo se llama miguel. Mi mama se llama sara y mi papa se llama alejandro. Mi hermano menor se llama diego y mi hermana mayor se llama victoria. Mi gusta ir de compras con mi hermana porque ella es fashionista y mi gusta la ropa que mi compra. En mi ciudad hay muchos taxis los taxis son rojos y siempre hay tráfico.   • What differences have you seen between the Spanish language and your native language? What did you find interesting and exciting about the Costa Rican culture? My ative language is spanish but I did notice differences between my native slang and Costa Rican slang and by differences I mean some words are completely different  or some words just don't exist or they mean something else.
  • What do you hope to learn if you continue to study the Spanish language? I hope to learn fancy words or words that can make me look smart.
  • We have learned elements of a language in a different teaching/learning style than you may be used to. Talk about your experience with learning Spanish in an online class. What did you like about the course? What did you not like and/or what could be improved? I liked how flexible it could be but I could definitely improve my time management.
  • What things did you do that helped you learn Spanish in this course? What things can you do to improve your own Spanish learning in the future? The thing that helped me learn how to read spanish, (I say read because that was my main problem), Was just reading more. Another thing that helped me was writing.

    • What things did your instructor do to help you with your learning? Was there anything that your instructor didn't do that would have helped you? My instructor was great. She helped me a lot by answering my questions really fast. She was also really nice.
