The agency I am hoping to do my volunteer hours with is my employer, California Tribal TANF Partnership. I have set some objectives outside of my current scope that I feel will enhance my marketability for interning outside of my employment next year.

Another option I was considering is Heather House emergency shelter in Fairfield. I have worked with them in the past with a few families and know they always need help.

We will be conducting focus groups for students experiencing homelessness while attending college and assessing their resiliency. This is Redwood Community Services. I will be a volunteer in the Native American Mentor program. My student I'm to mentor is a adolescent American Indian from the White Mountain Apache Tribe & The Round Valley Indian Tribe. He loves sports, basketball to be exact. My hope it to support him in his academics to hes able to continute to play and take him to a college basketball game.
