         <description><![CDATA[<div>When the prodigal son returns, the father orders for the "fattened calf" to be slaughtered for a celebratory meal. This shows that upon his return, the father has something to give the son through his own forgiveness.<br>In contrast, when Claire returns to Gullen, they have nothing to give her. Instead, she orders the 'slaughter' of Ill, who she calls 'fat', and gives the town money for this.<br><br>Although Claire is the prodigal son figure, returning to town after a long time, the roles are reversed and she is the one ordering for the 'slaughter' and she is the one giving for forgiveness.</div>]]></description>
