The introductions were also very powerful as usual with all of Brand New's songs, but "Lit Me Up" did not adhere to that standard. It was a terrible two minute speaking intro. Brand New is often compared to Bright Eyes as well as Concrete and Gold which are extremely popular rock groups. “First Day of My Life” by Bright Eyes is easily recognizable by anyone who doesn’t listen to the rock genre. “T-Shirts” by Concrete and Gold may not be as recognizable as “First Day of My Life”, but it is just a popular in the rock genre. “  Overall Science Fiction has its own voice and interesting ideas behind it. Their sound is dark, ominous, and recognizable, so it makes sense that they are so popular. The They also have interesting ideas and perspectives on Christianity, growing up, social issues, and typical heart breaks that will happen in your life. They have a strong sense of opinion and convey their ideas emotionally and with perfection.
