         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. <strong>manipulate the stock market</strong><br><strong>Definition:</strong> a stock exchange, Market manipulation is when someone artificially affects the supply or demand for a security (for example, causing stock prices to rise or to fall dramatically).<br><br><strong>Current statistics in the US:</strong> He used daily reported crime data from 2,700 law enforcement agencies across the United States between 1991 and 2015. That 25-year period encompasses periods of ups and downs for investors and the U.S. economy in general.<br><br><strong>Damages:</strong>&nbsp; Most manipulation cases involve a “pump-and-dump” trading strategy and stabilization operations. Pump-and-dump manipulations lead to high temporary price impacts, increased volatility, large trading volumes, short-term price continuation, and long-term price reversals during the manipulation period. Crime victims often suffer a broad range of psychological and social injuries that persist long after their physical wounds have healed. Intense feelings of anger, fear, isolation, low self-esteem, helpless- ness, and depression are common reactions.<br><br><strong>Solution:</strong> Because the investment market will have many uncertain factors under the influence of globalization, the government can strengthen supervision.
