(A) Look at the professional boundary between a teacher and student, if it is acceptable. Eg. if it is a male student who ask Miss Y out, it deems inappropriate. We have to consider public perception. 

(B) Since it is outside curriculum hours, should teachers "hang out" with students? Any conflict of interest? What if parents turn to teachers to take responsibility of their children since the teacher is out with them?

- As a teacher, we need to see if we are willing to extend our trust and exercise our duty of care outside a school setting. 
- If we are with them, we are extending our 'office hours' when we decide to be with them. The teacher has to be 100% responsible. 
- There are certain responsibilities that a teacher cannot bear all the consequences. There are too many things beyond the law that the teacher might be aware of (parents suing the teacher). Teachers need to be prepared and ask if they are ready to bear the consequences.

    - Need to be mindful when you use intrinsic motivational methods. Still need to emphasized and encourage the correct attitude. 
    - What are some ways to drive intrinsic motivation? ECG lessons to ensure students know about goal setting, knowing about their CHOICES available. 
    - Students like to have the feeling of making CHOICES. Need to teach them decision making processes for them to make good and sound choices for their future.
    - For art, the art teacher will do up a sample and students will strive to be on par or even better than the teacher's sample.  
    - Differentiated teaching, if you create initial success for the students, they will be more motivated to strive to do better subsequently.

    - a call to the parents to compliment about the child is a reward itself
    - Chillax usage as class bonding
    These incentives are recommended to avoid any negative perceptions and implications of the incentives. Also to ensure the safety of the students (ordering food from outside may not be safe).
