Online labs can be useful for a student if they have a pretty good understanding of the material. It might be more difficult for someone who is already not understanding the material. In person labs are super useful when it comes to hands on learning. The student can either try to take in the information and work really hard in the lab or just not try at all. I have hated each one. The labs did not develop my understanding, and they simply made completing the work more difficult.
