No, I strongly disagree with building a oil pipeline through a native American sacred ground. I disagree with the pipeline company because the Missouri river. It could pollute the river. Also, it could damage the Natives only source of drinking water. The way they are going to build it is very dangerous. It is because of the praying ground. Also, the cemetery could be dug up and destroyed. If you agree with doing things like what this oil company is doing you're rotten to the bone. You would be rotten because the Tribal grounds, praying grounds, and cemetery will be destroyed. So i strongly disagree with the oil pipeline

I don't believe in building a pipeline on Native American ground because it is disrespectful to their tribe. The river could become polluted and their source of drinking water would no longer be good to drink. They would be building it on their sacred burial grounds where their ancestors are buried which makes people think, why can't they build it somewhere else? If this were so the business would have their pipeline and the Native Americans would have their sacred ground. I think this would be the better plan so there wouldn't be any protests, people in danger and the fighting would be less heated. The business is building the tunnel for their own benefits while the Native Americans are trying to save their land for the benefits of their ancestors. The oil companies are abusing, misusing , and mistreating their sacred land and it's time to put an end to their land being disrespected and unappreciated. I can imagine myself as one of the Native Americans and if my sacred land was going to be dug up because of an oil pipeline I would do everything I could to protect and cherish the memories of my ancestors. Sure their traditions and way of life may be strange but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be respected. So this is why I strongly disagree with building an oil pipeline on Native Americans sacred ground.

No, I do not believe in building a pipeline on sacred grounds because it is disrespectful to their tribe. Building a pipeline could pollute the tribes drinking water. The pipeline company would be building the pipeline on sacred and burial grounds. It would be disrespecting their wants and needs. Needs because they need clean water and they want to keep their burial grounds. I really hope the "war" ends soon because people could get hurt from protesting. In one of the videos it showed police officers at the place where they might build the pipeline. I can imagine myself as one of the Native Americans and if my burial grounds were going to be ruined I know I would do everything to keep people from destroying my memories. I wonder why Donald Trump isn't working with the people of America to either try to stop it or make it continue, but I really hope that the Native American's get to keep their burial grounds and clean water!

No, because the tribe has the right to keep their sacred sights. If the pipeline is built it will pollute the tribe's water. Another reason is that these tribes were here way before any explorers came. So they should keep whatever land they have left. The company should put themselves in the tribe's shoes. I think if they did this they would change their minds. I think the company should find another place to build the pipeline. instead of all this time wasted to get oil they should be trying to find new sources of energy. let's say they made the pipeline, the oil would be a good thing. But what about the bad things. it would contribute to the greenhouse effect, and when we run out of oil how is this going to help. we are going to just sit there without a source of energy when oil and other nonrenewable resources are gone. we will look back and wish we would have spent more time looking for new sources of energy. these are reasons I believe the companies should stop.

Definitely not, if people have lived there for a very long time they shouldn't just take there land to build a pipeline. Even though its supposed to help oil get somewhere else and we need oil for other things. We still shouldn't build it because what if it breaks, it could cause massive damage to the land and all of the living things in it. They should find another way to transfer the oil. Also there are still people who live there and what if they build it near there houses. I mean even though we need oil in our world we shouldn't take there land. But also just think about it what if they said one day that they would destroy your house and community, what would you do. Would you say something or not do anything just stand there. So i hope you realize that they shouldn't do that to there land.

I think it is totally unethical to build a pipeline 1: Because it is crude oil people are running through it and it could spill and explode. 2: It's the land of the Native Americans. The fact that it is on there lands and it could possibly leak into their burial grounds I would totally have a problem with it. But on the other hand it would create thousands and thousands of jobs which is a good thing. But it also has to be safe guarded and monitored very carefully. It would really help our economy and I also think it is completely unfair since the land is theirs. I hope that the government understands what effect they are having on the Standing Rock Sioux Native Americans. These people have a right to the protesting but all its doing in the end is slowing down the proses so unless a law is ruled in court it's just going to continue.

The pipeline could also pollute the Mississippi river if something messes up. If the river gets polluted, then there source of water is gone . In general it is just plain rude and disrespectful to build the pipeline on those grounds. Why can't they reroute the pipelines? I think it's very ignorant of them to decide to build on those grounds. If they would've built the pipeline somewhere else none of the protests and drama would've happen.

Its extremely cruel just to come out of no where and build a oil pipeline on someones land. Its very dangerous. One it can leak and pollute the tribes only source of fresh drinking water(Missouri river). Two if the Native Americans smell/inhale too much of the oil, they can loose tons of brain cells which can lead to death. But also they were the first founders of America. So if they own land its theirs, not yours to come and just destroy.

It also very curel to the natives who protest and want to keep their land but are being arsted and hurt because of this. The oil pipe line could kill many animals if and when it leaks or miss with the water. What I am realy mad about is that they just made a deision and said to destroy the sacred ground that the natives lived on. Could the natives still live on the land when they build it. I think they could never live like they used to befor
