That is a very good choice for a major (I’m being very biased about this!) but really, you'll study subjects as the chemical makeup of water, the ocean's geology, marine mammals, fish, plants, and biological habitats. Marine biology majors study the creatures that live in the oceans, and the only tip I can really give you are to study hard and always make sure that you truly want to become a marine biologist.
