My mom came to the United States from my dad. My dad was in the military and was stationed in Okinawa (where she gave birth to my older brother). But my dad was later stationed to Camp Pendleton after spending around 4 years in Okinawa. When she came here, around a year later in 2004, my dad was going to Iraq, but around the same time, my mom gave birth to me and my twin brother. SO she had to take care of me and my brother along with driving a 5 year old to school every weekday. SO my grandma had to help my mom because she still had to work. So while my mom worked my grandma took care of us. Then my dad later came back in June 2005. He stayed for 2 years until he had to get deployed again in February 2007. SO again my mom was by herself but with the help from my grandma, she was able to take her kid to school, take care of two 3 year old and work at Popeyes.
