         <description><![CDATA[<p>In the new UKRI strategy, objective 1 says that by early 2027 UKRI will have reformed many of the applicant-led programmes to enable intellectual risk-taking and greater responsiveness to opportunities to sustain research excellence. As part of this, UKRI say they will publish revised guidance enabling weighted assessment for novelty and excellence in applicant-led opportunities. Will this reform apply to AHRC schemes? If yes, can you comment on the weighting for novelty and excellence?</p>]]></description>
