2. Listen to the song noted; “Heart of Gold” and consider the lyrics.I want to live,I want to give I've been a miner for a heart of gold. It's these expressions I never give That keeps me searching for a heart of gold And I'm getting old.It keeps me searching for a heart of goldAnd I'm getting old.I've been to HollywoodI've been to redwoodI crossed the ocean for a heart of goldI've been in my mind, it's such a fine lineThat keeps me searching for a heart of goldAnd I'm getting old.It keeps me searching for a heart of goldAnd I'm getting old.You keep me searching for a heart of gold I've been a miner for a heart of gold. And I'm getting oldWhat do the lyrics add to the story and or character of Bo?

3.	On page 179, the author changes the narrative point of view. It shifts. Identify the shift and its purpose and also consider how imagery and personification construct a strong sense of place and type of place.

It shifts from Copenhagen to the Nella Dan. The purpose of this is to show the reader that no matter where he is in the world the ship is always home. this highlights his attachment to the Nella Dan as though it is a living person that he loves. The sense of place is established through the comfort the ship provides. The shift also emphasises the relationship with Soren that is lost however the ship represents a "constant" companion for him.

Bo then prepared dinner then took Isla for a walk through the outskirts of the city. Isla refers to the city as a "stone city, old stone" and the town was "frozen" . Isla then refers to the town as being "static - stuck" and how the sadness of people had never been washed away "nor by fire or flood. by earthquake or by demolition. it was all still there, waiting and heavy" This is then contrasted with Bo comments "I like to walk", perhaps a metaphor for Islas light through darkness, as well as contrasting to Islas darkness.

Isla feels threatened by the negative energy and vibe of the "stone city"
