First, by introducing the negative impact of food waste on the environment, the seriousness of the situation was re-recognized. In addition, it was an announcement that enhanced understanding of this topic by citing nudge. By analyzing the actual eating of school meals and checking the current status of food waste among students, it became closer to the Zero Waist Food Project. In addition, by analyzing these graphs, it was possible to recognize the practical problems and solutions of current food waste. It was also an opportunity for me to recognize such food waste as a problem that the state and society should cooperate with, not as a personal problem.

However, I wondered if these simple methods could effectively reduce food waste. But the results were amazing. More and more students began to participate, and it was a big surprise to me that it was 15 times more effective than scanning food waste.
The three methods of EDA, gamification, and Nudge put together into one would have made the most effective power in reducing food waste, but from my perspective as a person who participated in the zero food waste project, I think the rewarding part had the most effect in all.
Now that an effective study came out how to reduce food waste, I hope that one day the society reaches zero food waste .

The first thing that impressed me was that it made people aware by mentioning the current environmental condition in the first part. Also, it was nice to introduce the terms neatly like ESG and NUDGE. I thought it would be great if I heard Gamification in the plan and expand it into a national policy. It will cost a lot of money at the national level, but in order to spend as little as possible, it would be good if the scanner was installed only in large restaurants, and a brief introduction about zero waste was attached, and a small certificate or product was given at the end of each year to scan the plate. I thought. In addition, I thought that it would be good to expand people's awareness of zero waste if the school regularly educates about zero waste and frequently exposes it to the media so that people can recognize it.

It was good that the video showed the seriousness of the food waste problem in numbers. In the video, they said that about 31% of the earth’s species disappeared in 36 years, natural Disaster : Wildfires due to climate change, and about 2.5 billion tons of food is wasted every year. They also introduced ESG (Environment, Social, Government) which means companies making their management transparent and working towards the environment. They used this in part in their activities. When we finished our meals, they gave us stickers and prizes. I actually got stickers and ice cream as a prize after I finished eating. Finally, in the video, they compared the survey results before and after the activity. The number of students who ate all of their meals increased from 10% to 38%, and who answered that they knew Zero Hunger well also increased from 20% to 50%. It was easy to understand because they introduced it using the graph. After watching the video, I decide to finish my meal for the environment!

The seriousness of food wasting is already known to many people. Also I often have heard about current situation related to food wasting problem and environmental crisis. But specific solutions that students can cary out to solve food wasting in daily life were not familiar to me. However this video contains simple and effective method which will lead us to reduce food waste. First, the creativity of the method they used to solve food wasting problem was such an impressed to me. By combinationing ESG, gamification and Nudge, they devised highly accessible project. As individual who participated in this Zero Food waste project, I felt rewarded and meaningful due to reducing food waste. And I'm sure that this project was the best way for students to solve the food wasting problem. Although people think that the project didn't gained huge achievement, this kind of small changes will affect world to proceed eco-friendly.

I was very surprised to learn that food waste accounts for 10% of greenhouse gases. Because I also throw away a lot of leftovers in the lunchroom. In fact, this campaign with nudge theory improved awareness of Zero Hunger and reduced the amount of leftovers. As someone who participated in the campaign, the results were very interesting. And it was especially good that the results were reported using graphs. Because the results were easy to see. The campaign is over, but I will still reduce the amount of leftovers to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

This presentation showed zero waste. I barely knew about zero waste. Thankfully, this video showed detailed information about the concept of zero waste and situations about food waste. This information helped me perceive the danger of food waste. Also, I have seen these students during the project. During the project, they tried to send positive messages about zero waste, and it was very meaningful to me. The project made me produce less waste in school lunches. At first, I participated eagerly to achieve items but in the end, I finally got to know that they were sending messages to us about zero waste and it motivated me to do more. I especially liked how they tried to show the seriousness but also tried to lead us to engage in ESG, Nudge Theory, and Gamification. I think it might be helpful not only the students who watched the video but also universally.

They suggested solutions in three ways(ESG, gamification, and Nudge) In particular, it was good to conduct a survey directly at school and provide products. It was amazing that the participation rate of students was increasing. It is important to try to protect the environment in our daily lives. I was able to reflect on the food waste that I had thrown away so far, and I thought I should act responsibly in the future. Also, it was impressive that they suggested such as gamification instead of difficult solutions. It was also very surprising that they came up ESG, Gamification, and Nudge Theory with a campaign to reduce food waste in short time. Usually, when I saw public service advertisements, the campaign to reduce food waste didn't hit me, and I didn't know what to do. However, when I participated in reducing food campaign with Gamification, I felt achievement while conducting the campaign, and when I received compensation later, I wanted to practice it myself in the future. In addition, it would be good to expand the method of Gamification, which I participated in this time, and apply this method to other schools.

In particular, ESG's section has told us how important it is to be ethical and environmental.

Indeed, it can really cause a lot of damage more than you think. However, reducing food waste and eating enough food that you can afford will satisfy you and your environment, too. Zero hunger is another problem of food waste. If we participate in zero-waste campaign, we can also save life.

It is impressive that ESG, gamification, and nudge theory have suggested various solutions to this problem. Gamification is particularly impressive, and it is often used in marketing in that it recognizes the brand to customers and induces direct participation, and if the problem can be solved through companies, it may be closer to zero food waste.

First of all, it was very shocking that about 30 percent of the species went extinct. It was a figure that seemed to clearly show that we should live an eco-friendly life. However, just looking at school life, you can often see activities such as keeping the fan on or throwing garbage without permission. Among them, I thought the biggest problem was the food waste problem, which costs 2 million won per month. So, this team's project was very interesting and I thought it was necessary for us. Of course, the reduction in the amount of food waste made by the project was also surprising, but the most interesting thing was that they applied the "nudge theory" to their project. Considering the age group of participants and the place of school, I affirm that it is probably the best marketing strategy. In fact, the effect of marketing was very significant as mentioned above, and I found that the proper use of marketing strategies was effective in protecting the environment by looking at their projects.

I read a book named 'Why half of the world are starving'. It said that developed countries regard the value of food less than developing countries. Wasting foods triggers too many environmental problems. In developed countries, there are two things people need to do: not only providing supplies to developing countries, but also diminishing the amount of food waste. I was impressed about the strategy of gamification which encouraged people to participate in the event with some prizes. I think this survey demonstrated that "We can do if we do.". As day progressing the participants of the survey increased, and eventually the people thinking that scanning food is important increased too. If there are practical events or surveys that we can experience like this survey, people's perception can be changed more easily. I learned the importance of changing mindset and trying to reduce the waste of food for our environment and earth is critical!

Our human beings have destroyed environmental destruction, and individuals have significantly affected environmental destruction. However, we have experienced positive environmental protection activities that individual and individuals can't cause large effects of environmental protection activities that can do not cause large effects. The environmental movement, we can be most easily of them 'zero waste food' exercise. This exercise is meaningful activities that individuals want to adjust the amount of food waste emissions. In particular, I thought that people were usually found that people have lack willingness to have insufficient willingness to have insufficient willingness since the 10th. So I think the 'zero food waste' movement needs to secure popularity so that it can be long-term enough to fully settle down.

Food waste is one of the causes of environmental pollution. As environmental pollution is getting worse day by day, there is a need for a way to solve environmental pollution. Before looking at the results, I wondered if these simple methods could reduce food waste. But after seeing the results, I changed my mind. These simple methods were very effective in reducing food waste, and the experiment was successful. The amount of food waste that students usually throw away after eating school meals was huge. I wondered if we could handle all of these foods. However, an experiment conducted by three students will certainly be effective in reducing food waste. In the past, I have seen a book called "Why is half the world hungry?" that anyone may have heard at least once. Compared to other countries, our country was living very well. Many people are supporting developing countries, but the problem of hunger is still unresolved, and the problem of food waste in developed countries is serious. In a way, it is very contradictory. It may not be easy, but it would be great to reduce food waste in developed countries and provide food to developing countries. Like an experiment conducted by three students, we will have to solve the food waste problem, starting with what we can do.

In the video, the seriousness of food waste was explained and shown. There were three concepts described in the process: esg, gamification, and nudge. Esg and nudge were relatively familiar concepts. This is because I read a book called nudge and studied the concept of esg by myself. However, the concept of gamification was a concept that I had never encountered before. As I explained in the video, I could definitely feel that if people felt and acted in the field of zero waste, it would have a good effect on the environment. Nowadays, people live in a competitive society, and those who are ahead in the competition feel a little proud. In other words, I thought what if good competition would emerge by people feeling zero waste as a game. I think the sense of achievement and pride that we feel by improving and improving the environment of the Earth that we survive is much greater and healthier than the pride we feel as we develop and move forward in society. If many people feel it and act to make everyone think about it a little more, the earth for everyone will truly go back for everyone-Elephants, zebras, trees, cats, humans, and everyone.
I was also able to participate in the campaign that they hosted. As I participated in this campaign, I could feel that the action actually helped me to realize that zero waste became gamification. I felt that it was very similar to the game to do zero waste to get stickers and get a prize through it. Most people who participate in the campaign must have felt this together. If so, we could take a step closer to the environment for everyone described earlier. The video said people continued to act after the zero waste campaign. People already felt very proud after they did that and received the prize. I hope that the global environment for everyone will be much better as these campaigns are activated in various regions and even countries.

I didn't know much about the nudge theory before watching the video. The theory is that flexible intervention can change consumers' choices. That's why the group felt the seriousness of food waste in the cafeteria, and when they finished, they held an event to collect stickers and give snacks to encourage children not to leave food. I think this event was fruitful. I think there are many areas where using the nudge theory will bring good results. In our class, we also held an event to give prizes to students who came early to come to school early, which was effective. I realized that this is the nudge theory.

The student surveys in various ways about scale of food waste in our school cafeteria. And they used a simple method to reduce it. I didn't expect about a positive result, but after seeing the results, the method is effective. In other word, it is success to reduce food waste in our school's cafeteria. And I realized if a little interest gathers, it can make great result. I've always think that our little habits can change the world. So, I thought of two simple option that we can do for the environment. First, we must reduce the use of plastic. Plastic is a major problem cause of the destruction of the beaty of the earth. It would be much more environmentally friendly to use a tumbler than a plastic cup. Usually we use plastic cups to take out drinks such as coffee. Second, we must not just throw garbage on the road. In particular, garbage such as plastic takes more than 500 years to decompose naturally. Our small behaviors can change the world. This video was very interesting and very helpful. I hope many people see this video.

I have read the book 'Why is half the world hungry?' and I feel that many of the hunger around the world is caused by developed countries. One example that sticks to mind is how American grain corporations 'dump' millions of kilograms of wheet into the ocean to keep the price of wheet up. If we send these to the developing world, we can probably solve world hunger.

When I participated in person, I tried not to leave any leftovers for the rewards, and thinking that my actions not only me but also other friends thought and acted the same, the overall amount of leftovers would have decreased. Judging from this, among the three things investigated by this team, if people are informed by card news and practiced as a reward, it will be possible to practice zero food waste in society as a whole. But I think our own mindset is also important because we know that it can't be implemented if we just know it and don't practice it.

It was amazing that we needed 53 gallons of water to make an egg and 1,800 gallons to make a pound of beef. We eat an egg and beef very often. In our daily life, I didn't think about how many resources were used to make this beef or how much the environment was polluted. This video made me think about how much environment I contaminated.
In addition to this video, I have read articles claiming that meat eating is the major cause of environmental pollution. The article explained that cows' farts and the amount of grass they eat are a big part of environmental pollution and that the carnivorous diet of modern society, which requires raising such cows in large quantities, threatens the environment. Watching this video, I remembered the contents of the article again, and it was an opportunity to look back on my carnivorous eating habits.
Also, I often see advertisements promoting vegan-friendly products on the Internet or interviews with vegetarians. I have often wondered how much reducing my meat intake would help the environment while watching such videos and advertisements. But this video showed me that one vegetarian could reduce 4,164 liters of water and save more resources. This video gives me a much more positive view of vegetarian activities than before.

This sentence motivated me to act for nature. In addition, food scans, zero-hungers, and food-leaving surveys of first graders showed very interesting figures. I was surprised that 46 percent of the students in the survey were not helping with food scans. And also it was shocking that nearly 40 percent of students said they didn't eat meals 1 out of 3 a day. It also costs more than about $1 trillion a year to dispose of food waste.
Efforts such as not leaving food leftovers or reducing food waste are essential due to personal efforts.

Reducing food waste is bound to have a good effect on the environment. First of all, reducing waste itself can reduce enormous carbon emissions generated during combustion. Also, reducing food waste means that the resources can be invested elsewhere.
