So we had IPBA's International Day coming up in a few more days. i have to deciede to join something as all my tomodachi are already taking places in at least one activity/competition. leaving me with no choice, i have to make a call. then i decided to join the Karaoke Competition ouh yeah. so here i am going to share my first experience taking part in karaoke competition. in other words, SINGING PUBLICLY, yes.

It is my first time singing in public, thanks to my last-minute call. so at the beginning i was thinking to do solo karaoke and already had a song in my mind to sing (can search toumei datta sekai by motohira hatta in youtube okay). But then, on the recording day in the morning, watashi no tomodachi wa, grace-san suddenly came to me and ask for a duet. i could not say no and i agreed for a duet and we were about to sing the most famous childhood song of mine which is Mirae by Kiroro. i grew up listening to my Aunt playing and singing this song over and over. so i do not need an ntense practice on this song as the melody and lyrics kind of stucked in my mind. so, we rehearsed the song a couple of time and we were ready to record.

i can tell that my singing was out from this world. i was over-confident and it all went bad. it was just me but not my duet no tomodachi, grace-san. she was delivering her parts very well. demo, surprisingly, we won the first place for the karaoke competition, above others strong contestants! okage sama de, thanks to my duet no tomodachi, grace-san to sensei to minasan for all the supports and loves. <3

I had gained a few strengths and knowledge through this karaoke competition that i took place into. Firstly, i am more confident in front of the crowd now. yokatta nee. Secondly, i am able to pronounce Nihon no kotoba better than i was before i joined Nihongo no Kurasu. Mirae is a great song, and i enjoyed singing the song. thank you for the experiece too. winning is just a bonus. i really glad i had chosen Japanese Class as my second elective.
