         <description><![CDATA[<div>"The cotton dress should have looked strange, but all I could think of was that I should ask my mother if I couldn’t wear a dress to school, too, instead of my Indian clothes" (Rau 2).<br>This quote shows identity from those around you because the Indian girl in her class didn't want to wear Indian clothes, instead she was choosing to adapt to those around her and dress like them in order to fit in.  She is finding her identity by conforming to those around her instead of her own culture.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div>]]></description>
