We are a fully inclusive, intergenerational service, providing work-based training for young people at risk of unemployment, along with training and volunteering opportunities and progressive day services, for adults who have learning disabilities, physical disabilities or mental ill health.

Supported by Pembrokeshire County Council and Welsh Government, the next round of the PAVS’ Support Community Action Fund is now open for applications. The “Living well this Winter” grant offers revenue grants of up to £2500 to constituted voluntary and community groups and Town and Community Councils. 

This Living Well round recognises the ongoing challenges and pressures to providing activities and services to support vulnerable people during the winter months.

You are invited to a relaunch of the West Wales Innovations Forum which will take place on Monday, 17 October 2022 from 10am to 4pm, at the Queen’s Hall, 40 High Street Narberth, Pembrokeshire SA67 7AS.

 

The Innovations Forum was originally launched in 2019 in a well-attended event at which partners agreed a range of priorities, including optimising funding for the sector, co-designing new models of care, tackling the challenges of rural delivery, and optimising social value across the West Wales region. 

 

The arrival of Covid-19 effectively brought a halt to the development of the Forum but nevertheless resulted in closer collaboration between providers and commissioners and the transformation of key aspects of care. So there is much to build on as we now look to bring the Forum back into action.

 

Practice Solutions are delighted to be working with the West Wales Care Partnership once again in taking forward this exciting programme of work. You are also key to the success of this next phase.

Carers Trust is delighted to launch a new funding programme which will support unpaid carers living in Wales to access a short break from their caring role.
