I have very big positive comment for my favorite hotel Mount Lavinia Hotel in sri lanka. Before i go there i book my room by booking .com and after i visit to the hotel I don't have to waiting in line . There have few counters they working smoothly and fast they only ask my details and booking ticket . After i visit i only spent 5 minute take my key . It's pertty good . Ohh they all so gave me welcome drink .

The staff smiled warmly at me as I walked up to the Le Meridien hotel front desk. I was immediately made to feel valued as a guest by the genuine passion with which the receptionist welcomed me. I had a very bad experience with Taj hotel in Amritsar. Don’t go with the impression that this is part of Taj hotels, you will be definitely disappointed. I got a lower category room allocated than whatever I paid for, that too without informing me. When I followed up on this, the response from front desk was bad. Most of the front desk staff are inexperienced in handling customers.
Brand reputation is built with quality of service/experience & trust.

I haven’t experienced yet ! But I witnessed once stupid guest bad behaviour towards hotel staff He was drunk And shouting on front desk lady staff But positive thing was the lady very calm and try her best to make him calm

We stayed in one of the top hotels in Washington DC. The first night, before going to dinner we noticed that the toilet was leaking, not a big deal, minor leak. Called the desk, told them about this and they sent someone up to fix it.While he was there working on the leak, we went out to dinner with our friends, and when we returned, found the bathroom floor flooded. Again called the desk and they sent someone else up immediately who fixed the leak. Since it was after 11, we wiped up the floor with our towels and went to bed. The next day, we left early, spent the entire day exploring, going to the zoo, etc. When we returned at 5 pm, we found our room was not made up, the towels were still on the floor in the bathroom as we left them. Went downstairs to complain and the assistant manager gave me a hard time shouting, “Don’t you see that I am involved with a wedding and have no time for this.” Went back to the room, called the desk and demanded to speak to the hotel manager. I was told that he was off that day, and I then said that I don’t care, get him at home, or I will call the corporate office immediately, check out, and put in a dispute for the bill when I receive it from American Express. Within 5 minutes, the assistant manager calls me, all apologetic. I told him not to bother with his apologies, nor to bother to make up the room, but to get me towels immediately. I said, that I understand that mistakes happen, and not cleaning my room, was no big deal and one that he should have just remedied immediately. His shouting at me was not acceptable. He then proceeded to apologize again, comping me for the first night.

When we got home, still pissed about the way he spoke to me, and how embarrassed I felt in front of all of the people that were attending the wedding, my wife wrote to the corporate office who later not only comped us for the second night, but gave us three free nights at any other of their hotels
