You’ve been such a breath of fresh air in the middle of all this remote learning. I would’ve loved to interact with you in a regular classroom setting so I could see you pick on the shyer kids haha. Even though I’d probably fall victim to being picked on too sometimes. You’re a great teacher and easy going and I have never come across a professor that traveled as much as you did in one school year. Although I didn’t enjoy the essay writing I will always think of you and your tips any time I do have to write something in the future. I hope you have a great summer with your husband and dog, and hope to meet you in person one day and that we will cross paths on campus or in another class room setting, thanks again!

Truthfully, you are one of the most real, honest, and supportive professors I have encountered at the college, and I wish that I could have taken you for other classes as well.

As a future educator myself, this class has been very helpful in helping me find out about not only the different kinds of students I might have in my future classroom but also what are some issues they might deal with as well . Along with that I also learned how I as their teacher can help them with those issues and how I can make their experience in school a happier and safer time.
I was able to learn so much in this class from all of the different topics we discussed and the different assignments we had. The feedback you provided always made me think more about my work and I think honestly helped my writing improve as well.
While your class is a bit later in the day and I tend to have a long day on Wednesdays, this class was always one I looked forward to. I can honestly say your class has been one of my favorites in Brooklyn College. I was always excited to see what topics would be discussed and listen to the conversations started by you and the other students in the class. As the last day of class has arrived, I regret not speaking up and being a part of more discussions. I wish we weren't in this pandemic and I was able to take this class in person. Your energy and enthusiasm even remotely is amazing and I think it would've been even better in person. You were clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about the different topics you decided to teach and seeing your excitement made me even more excited to learn.
Thank you again for teaching us all this semester. I hope I am able to take another class taught by you in the future, hopefully in person. Even with your amazing experiences and stories, your personality radiates throughout my week; I swear I look forward to 6:05 every Wednesday evening. You make class enjoyable and your truth and acceptance speaks volumes to the person you are. You have personally helped me with acceptance and have inspired me to even further my dreams in the schools. I want to be a school counselor and while most of this focused on teachers and educators, the stories and lessons on the systematic issues and problems within schools opened my eyes and has inspired me to go through with being there for students and to help shape a better environment.
