It resembles the beginning of their relationship. Also, it shows how they are different from people in several ways but, the love they share for each other is shown still. It starts off with one of the important quotes of the book which explains the main event of the story and how the story begins to climax. They explain how Hazel's life starts off and how it is changed throughout the book and the most important characters. Neither of them quite wanted to be at the support group but they both ended up happier by going and meeting each other.
