This story gave me a realization that strangers can be friends. An impact gained from an encounter with a stranger can have a lasting impact in our actions and emotions. The boy in this story made me worried as he started talking to strangers. However, as the writer develops his story, the stranger, who was the woman, appeared to be someone who was pleasant. As the story was reaching an end the biggest question in my mind was, who was the woman? What was she doing in the platform and why she approached the boy? She seemed to be having a soft spot for young boys. This can be seen in the incident in the story where another boy of the similar age tried to cross the platform, and the woman got scared until the boy crossed the platform safely. My assumption would be that, she could have lost someone she dearly loved around the same age and is trying to fill the emptiness by talking to boys of the same age reminiscing her memories.

This story let me feel like the relationship between the boy and the strangers was very heartwarming because of how the boy and the strangers felt like a real mother and son. In the part where the strangers take the boy to have a meal, this reminds me of how my mother always take me to eat and she will listen to me while I'm eating. This whole story seem very interesting of how the strangers treat the boy like her own son and how the boy refuse at first and accept as his "mother" at the end because this let me think that not all stranger have bad intention against us.

This story reminds me that actually there are strangers that are nice and friendly. I used to afraid to communicate and staying together with strangers because what adults taught us is: "Stay away from strangers. " Besides, I ponder that the interactions between Arun and his "mother" are better than Satish with his mum. In the other hand, my mum is similar to Satish's mother because she always anxious about what I'll do and non-stop nagging me. Lastly, the lovely and warm story had enlighten my dull day and it is amusing to read more.

This story reminds me my grandmother who passed away two years ago. I still remember after she passed away, we started to organize her relics, and there are a lot of albums with a lot of pictures of her, my grandfather and their children. I realized that every woman used to be a young girl ,and they will do rebellious things too. My mum is one of the example, before my mum get married, she used to went to the bar, drink alcohols which she won't do it anymore nowadays. I was touched by this story. After reading this story, I think we should do what we like to do before we get old, so that we won't regret ourselves wasting time when we are getting old. The question I would like to ask is "Why the author's grandmother don't want to tell her grandson that the little girl in the photo is her ?"

I felt relieved when I read the story. These contents give me some similarities as they are close to reality. It was a short and relaxing conversation between a little girl and a teenage girl. I think the part where both of the characters wish to visit many different countries is the same as mine. I always wish to visit around the world. And The country I wish to visit the most is Japan. Although I have visited before, the culture and the environment make me very comfortable and unforgettable. I think this story makes the reader feel that we are the characters in the story. Neither its storyline, nor the writing of the author are both wonderful. Two different ages of girl talking with the same topic unhindered. This shows that like-minded people can become friends without hindrance. Last but not least, what I learned from this story is to keep doing what you want and not be influenced by others.

I felt quite funny when the grandmother didn’t want to tell the writer that the little girl in the picture was her. She even tried to escape answering the writer by telling him of other things found in the picture. At the same time, I felt a bit sad because time flies, I could imagine that the grandmother missed her childhood very much. When I read the part on the grandmother looking at her own picture, I recalled myself looking at my own photos taken when I was a little girl. I found that my looks has changed a lot. Sometimes, I would even laugh to myself when I looked at my foolishly look. I felt the story would catch readers’ attention because it caused me curious of who was the little girl in the picture at first. It has the features which will keep the readers want to read it finished in one short to know what is the ending.

When I was reading this story, I actually felt that it was a very heartwarming story. I can even imagine that there is a hut over there on the hill station in the story, and there is a small garden around the hut with all kinds of beautiful flowers. Then there's the way the little boy called Anil gets along with Miss Mackenzie, which makes me feel comfortable in that scene.

Then I think the last part of the story was relatable to me, which was the part where Miss Mackenzie died at the end, because my dad also died when I was 10, so when I read the last part in which Miss Mackenzie died, I felt a little sad. At the end of the story, although it was only written when Miss Mackenzie died, I imagined that the little boy Anil in the story did not know that Miss Mackenzie had passed away, and then waited for him to come back from next year, he just knew about Miss Mackenzie's passing. Similar to me, I didn't know that my father would die suddenly the night before, and I didn't realize that my father had left me until I woke up.
So I really like this story very much. The story is flat, but it makes people feel different emotions along with the plot of the story. I think it was a very good story.

After reading this story, I was greatly touched. Just imagine how long it has been since we talked to strangers? Our mothers just like Satish’s mother in the story would tell us not to talk to strangers, not to accept anything from strangers and not to go with strangers .As the results ,we don’t have any contact with strangers when we are growing up.In fact human beings are inherently kind.So just try to believe strangers are kindly and don't hold too much malice towards the world.Besides, I think the strange woman in that story was very heartwarming. She taking Arun who are waiting alone at the station to food and not let Arun embarrassing to say yes when Satish's mother asked her if she was his mother.I also think that the strange woman may have just lost a child who is the same age as Arun so she was very emotional when she saw Arun and took the initiative to approach him and treating the little boy as well as the child she had just lost.Furthermore,I think it's amazing that these two strangers who have never met each other can call each other so intimately in a short period of time. For example, the strange woman in the story said that Arun was her child and Arun also said ‘good-bye — mother ’ to the strange woman in the story. Therefore, I think the kindness of strangers is more heart-warming because the kindness of strangers is just pure concern on the basis of no interest.

They began to argue and fight for the bread and milk so that they can finish all of it all alone and they do not want to share with each other. Their sound woke a big black cat up. The cat jumped down from the wall and slowly went towards the bread and milk. The three animals saw the cat, they immediately stop fighting and began to hide and run away from the cat. At last, the three animals did not eat anything, all of the food were eaten by the big cat. The narrator meets a young girl in a train compartment. The narrator is quite taken with the young girls and wants to spend a memorable time with her as long as their brief journey lasted. Two of them don't want to let each other know that they are blind. After reding this story, I felt that the writer wants to show the kindness through this two girls. Throughout the story the narrator shows kindness to the young woman present in the compartment. There are many blind people around us. We should treat them well instead of bullying them. I think the story are quite good. It shows the kindness that exists around us. Besides that, this story also expresses the fact that there are many good people.

I felt calm and peaceful when reading the story. Through the story, I know that strangers can be friends. Actually I was surprised that the author can be that caring about a girl that had met twice, maybe they are meant to be met. I wonder what happened to the girl. Is she still alive? If it’s, I hope she is living happily. The part when the owner of the tea stall said that he knew nothing about the girl was relatable to me. It’s because I only care for myself and know nothing about others. After reading the story, I want to be a more caring person. I think the story is heartwarming because the author helped a stranger and after that they became friends. We should help those who need of help even if it is a stranger.

After reading this story, I'm quite envious of their affection between the granny and the boy because my grandmother never told us some of her life experience or memories. But there are also similar places between my grandmother and the granny in the story. Such as my grandmother also had tailor me a pillow jacket. I've been using it since I was two years old and now I'm still hugging it every night I sleep. I hope our affection will get better and better.

They play together in his room, and also enjoy different scenery from the window. After couple of days, Koki needs to leave and both of them are reluctant to be separate.
I felt quite touch when I read until Koki was about to leave and said, 'When I come again next year you will still be here, won't you?' What she said is what she hope, which she hopes that he will stay at the room forever.

After reading this story, I felt a little bit sad because the old man used to be a legend of kite maker when he was young. But in his older age, no one remember him, everyone is busy living their own life. They forget about the old man, the kites they used to play and their childhood memories. At the end of the old man's life, Ali (his grandson) is the only person who accompany him and still playing kites. Moreover, this story also reminds me that sometimes we need to slow down and get some rest. We can spend some time to daydream and play kites, so that we can runaway from this competitive and stressful world for a while and make ourselves happy. Other than that, I feel like buying some kites and play it with my family members this weekend because after reading this story, I think kites are very beautiful and can bring lots of happiness to us. Lastly, I also want to get one of the musical kite that was made by the old man because it's so cool! That kite will sound like violin when it's in the air!

I just kept wanting to continue reading, as I really love the characters in the story, like they're the kind of people I would like to meet!
Well, as a student, I can’t tell that I’m feeling relatable to the main part of the story, which is falling in love and having that many life experiences. However, the preference of having a bachelor's life is so fit for me, as I think getting into a relationship as a student is having cons more than pros.
I really love the way the author narrates this story, everything is going in a plain way, but readers could feel the deep emotion of the story. The pure love they show throughout their story was making me so comfortable, and I believe the good ending is also one of the reasons I give a good evaluation of this story.

He saw a boy is crying, and the boy has no eyes, ears and mouth. But the most scariest part is after he saw the boy, He quickly run away, then he saw a night-watchman. The teacher ask the night-watchman for help, and tell him about the boy. The watchman say,"Do you mean it was like this?". The had a heart attack because the watchman had no face. After reading this story, I think I would never walk alone in the forest.

This story potrays the unconditional love among family members. For example, Jennifer is a kind elder sister. She always helps her brother Richard who constantly borrows money from her. Jennifer, knowing her brother's lackadaisical attitude, helps him everytime hoping he will change for the better. However, she was disappointed when she was interrogated by the police with regards to Richard's criminal activity. Later in the story, it was revealed that Richard was manipulated by his boss, Mr Kelly. Mr Kelly is a criminal who deals with stolen jewelleries. Richard eventually exposes Mr Kelly to the police. In my opinion, we should not resort to crime no matter how dire our financial situation is.
However, Richard took advantage of his sister's kindness and got her into trouble when she was interrogated by the police with regards to Richard's criminal activity. In my opinion, we should never betray the trust bestowed upon us.
