As an early childhood teacher, I personally believe that children learn best through hands-on experiences, trial and error, and interactive play. This belief is through my years working as a lead educator in the early years. Although planned activities are crucial, the children thrive through spontaneous play and extending their own interests.

I believe curriculum encompasses all the learning throughout the day, be it a planned lesson or socialising with their friends during recess.

I define curriculum as a guide for learning. I do not think curriculum as a "plan" as it may restrict how people learn things and how teacher run the programs to meet each child's needs. It helps teacher to keep up with the standards. I also think curriculum is reflective, meaning that it needs to be ongoing and developing.
