Purpose of following the pillars of Islam
When a Muslim observes the 5 pillars of Islam, He will be rewarded by Allah. He will be guided on the right path and his Iman will be strengthened.
Results of failing to practice the pillars.
A Muslim's Iman will be weakened when he fails to uphold the 5 Pillars of Islam. He will be distanced from Allah and would be easily led astray by Shaitan.
