She was the first known women to go against the sitting congress women and becoming a "rising political star." After all the votes were submitted and the final results were in she was then known as the lady that "wasted 1.3 million dollars on 6,321 votes." This was a good thing, even though she went through a rough time. She realized something that hadn't crossed her mind. She through some facts that i never thought of and it made me wonder why we are like this. Women are known to try their best to reach 100% and are never praised for. Men won't even try and still meet the qualifications which is ridiculous. Women are ridiculed for not being the perfect image while society never goes after the men. It's sad how I never thought of this and would always think it was something natural that society thought that way.
