Don't forget to use a greeting (Hi Mark). Check your punctuation. Periods at the end of sentences, and capitalize "I". Good ideas!

Honestly, I don't know what I would do.
But I think I would call her explaining, as I also have a cat and I would be really mad if she didn't tell me about it. 
Maybe she knows places the cat might have gone...

You could print pictures of it and post it at places with high circulation and ask at stores around your house.
Why don't you ask friends for help on social media?
