         <description><![CDATA[<div>In our IGCSE 2 Global Perspectives class Mr. Giegerich and Mr. Grant have been looking at the current Global health crisis. <br><br>Mr Giegerich states: "This is a presentation about the COVID 19 outbreak in global, local-national, and personal perspectives. It covers the extent of the outbreak globally, and in specific countries. It looks at how different individuals are affected by it to different degrees, before finally comparing and contrasting different national approaches to the attempt to curtail the spread."</div>]]></description>

They were to create a team project on an aspect of the fight against COVID 19. They chose social distancing. The presentation contains information that they have researched online,and the transcripts of interviews that they conducted with members of people from different cultures.</div>]]></description>

This has been a very interesting time for both teachers and students moving into an online teaching environment. <br><br>Displayed below is some of the amazing work that our teachers and students have been producing while we have been away from school for the past few weeks!<br><br>Usually, we post the students work on the notice board outside the front office - seeing as we are unable to do that we have decided to showcase the work digitally here using Padlet.<br><br>I think its safe to say that we are all technologically literate students now! <br><br></div>]]></description>

The range of assignments is quite long, but they have, one by one, completed approximately 4 assignments per week. We are very proud of our grade 7 students. </div>]]></description>

Here we have a beautifully illustrated page of a graphic novel from a pair of IGCSE 1 students.<br><br> Ms. Delima writes "The students work with a partner and write an imaginative narrative which is one of the tasks in the writing program. This writing task promotes students' consistent use of the writing process, creativity, effort, and quality of work, as well as evaluating individual pieces of work under the listed writing program assessment criteria."</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Ms Walton has been looking at King Hung's birthday with her students she writes "The Hung King activity was completed by students in less than an hour during class time!  Their task was to be the teacher and prepare a short presentation to teach me about Hung King commemoration.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Mr Shoulders' students interviewed an elder person in their hometown about how it has changed over time.<br><br>Mr Shoulders writes: "In Year 8 Global Perspectives, students were asked to interview two elders of different generations about their hometowns and the changes they have seen take place in them over time as a part of our unit on Changing Communities. At the culmination of this project, they were asked to share their findings from these interviews in a creative digital slideshow."<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Our students in Mr. Red's grade 7 integrated ICT class have been busy creating games! Here is an example from Yen Ngoc in 7B. <br><br>Mr Red Writes: "The students learned about the different techniques that can be used to create a PowerPoint Maze Game.  I showed them levels of difficulty then the activity then the learners have to add more levels and increase the difficulty of each stage."<br><br>The Rules of the game are as follows:<br>1. Do not touch the border with the mouse.<br>2. Do not touch any of the moving objects.<br>3. Try and get to the end of the maze.</div>]]></description>
