In my area, the centers partipates in the "Abalar project" (More than 50 % of the total ) have an Acess Point per 5º , 6º Primary anda 1º e 2º Secundary classroom ; ( students from 10 to 14 years old).
These aps broadcast Wi-Fi.
Teacher's devices (personals and corporates) are connected through an LDAP account. Student's laptops are conectated in a transparent way through theirs MACS registry

Galicia is an autonomous state in the northwest of Spain.
I am a Maths teacher on a Secondary School, however nowadays I am working as a computer consultant for the educational administration of the Galician Government.
For this reason I dedicate 100% of my workday to the ICT infrastructures of the centers and their implementation in the classrooms.

As advisor to the Administration, I am going to comment the general situation of the Galician schools.
The management of the network infrastructure is centralized in the Administration. Schools has not autonomy for working in it.
However, there are many cases in which this rule is ignored and schools install and configure technologies in a particular way.
From 2018, speeds higher than 200 / 25 Mbs down/up in 100% of public schools are guaranteed; The technology used varies according to the zones, optical fiber, cable modem, 4G solutions, etc.
The computers are connected in the first place to the corporate intranet , where there are filters installed to protect the access to these terminals.
