These days, there was some debate as to whether awards should be given to students having excellent academic performances or those who make strides in their studies results, and in my opinion, I subscribe to the latter for three reasons. Firstly, this could give equal chances for every student to receive awards, rather than only focus on the highest achievers. Should students be recognized and rewarded for making significant progress for their effort during semesters, they will feel motivated. As a consequence, they are likely to put more effort into studying. Moreover, this form of recognition follows the holistic principle of learning, which is to access the world of knowledge, not just to gain high scores. Besides, several common phenomena which occur when examinations approach, including pressure, anxiety, or cheating, would be reduced. To sum up, I personally agree that it is advisable to reward students showing great improvements instead of those who achieve the highest grades.

In the education field, streaming students is one of the most controversial method of teaching. In my opinion, I disagree, notwithstanding, it has some great benefits and some withdraws. Firstly, there are many different advantages that can benefit both of the students and the teacher. First of all, streaming students can help teachers to work at the right speed for their students. Every student is different from each other, therefore, in many occasions, teachers have to change their speed in order to help the students catching up with others. In this way, quick-witted students can study at a faster speed for a larger range of knowledge. Meanwhile, weaker ones can manage to acquire the knowledge at a more relevant speed to them. Another advantage of streaming students is for the teachers to provide a better lesson program according to the different classifications. For instance, the highly achieved students would be able to perform better and study more complex lessons if they were grouped into separate classes. Simultaneously, underachievers can catch up more easily when teachers are only focusing on the main topics for them. Nevertheless, there are still some withdraws. Streaming could damage weaker students’ self-esteem, because they may lose motivation. Being separated from the more percipient may cause them to create a stereotype of thinking them as losers and simpleminded students. After that, most of them would eventually give up and lose all of the motivations. Streaming students are separated from “smarter” students, so they can barely learn any studying experiences from them. This may stop the possibility of them learning more efficient. Generally speaking, although streaming students is an advanced way of education, traditional mixed class is still more preferable and more effective.

Students who cannot have excellent academic will encourage to put their effort into studying for the highest score , then, all of them could create a highly competitive studying environments at school.

Some people think that schools should reward students who show the best academic results. In my view, I believe that rewards should be given for praising students showing improvements. In one side, there are a large amount of reasons why awards should be given to students having excellent academic performances. Firstly, this could create a highly competitive studying environment a school, so that students may pay all their attention to study. As a result, students could be encouraged to put their effort into studying for the highest scores. Secondly, students who are outstanding could be given opportunities to develop their capabilities. On the other hand, I side with the view that individuals with considerable progress also deserve equivalent recognition. The first benefit is that this could give equal chances for every student to receive awards, rather than only focus on the highest achievers. Only when their efforts are highly appreciated, can students feel motivated and then get a higher result in the next competition. Another advantage is that adopting this method could keep normal school students from stress and depression when the examination is coming. It is true that children nowadays are under a lot of pressure of studying and being compared with their top classmates. Thus, giving awards when they make stride in studying is the best way to inspire and motivate them to study harder. In conclusion, giving rewards to top achievers is reasonable but I believe that it is much better to give encouragements to those who put their time and efforts into studying in order to gain higher scores.

There are different views about wether students should follow university study or vocational training, in my point of view, it is better to follow vocational training. Firstly, vocational courses are usually take shorter time than university one, this means students who follow vocational training are likely to have more time to find their jobs, more chances to face with real life problems. Secondly, vocatinal training not only provide knowledge but also prepare students real life experiences: hands-on skills, solving problem ability,... Thirdly, vocational training will train their students for manual or labour-intensive jobs, so they will have more job opportunities. Next, vocational training will ensure that there will be no lack-of-experience workers that were trained by it. Graduating with a vocatinal diploma means that students are ready to have the experience that employers are looking for, this will reduce the chance of being turned down at an interview because students do not have enough experiences. In conclusion, when following vocational training, students might even have more benefits than follow university study.

In this day and age, there is a lot of controversy going on to discuss whether to streaming students by their ability or not. In my opinion classify student by their own capacity is a very wise choice. First and foremost, when you divide class into each group of ability teachers can work at the right speed for their student .For example , in high level groups may progress faster or lower level group can benefit from a slower pace. IN this way student can study their best without thinking if the other student work faster or slower than them. Last but not least, study in streaming ability class also make they feel depressed. Studying in a classification class helps students make apprehensive about themselves. In mixed classes many students who do not have good ability to study feel sad and pressured when their classmates are higher grades. This may resulted in their pessimistic view of life and It makes them feel bored at school and do not want to study anymore. IN conclusion, every way of dividing has different advantages and disadvantages, but for me dividing students according to their abilities will create a more effective learning environment.

There is a lot of discussion these days about whether teachers should reward their students for great academic performance or for rapid improvement. In my perspective, it is more rational to encourage children throughout their development. To begin with, rather of rewarding students based on their grades, which would create an unhealthy competitive learning atmosphere, rewarding students based on their consistent effort would promote a healthy study environment. Students will be treated equally and will have access to the same resources as high-level students, but not at the same time. All pupils will be pushed to work harder in class and develop drive in order to earn high grades. If children are rewarded for their academic achievement, poorer kids will feel devalued and lose confidence. If teachers continue to praise clever children, they will believe that they will never be able to study as well as other students. Furthermore, because today's youngsters are subjected to a great deal of peer pressure, this sort of acknowledgement might help to reduce stress and melancholy. This could give equal chances for every student to receive awards, rather than only focus on the highest achievers. Another benefit is that this form of recognition follows the holistic principle of learning, which is to access the world of knowledge, not just to gain high scores. But several common phenomena which occur when examinations approach, including pressure, anxiety and cheating, would be reduced. In general, while streaming students is a more sophisticated method of teaching, conventional mixed classes are still preferred and more successful.

In many school, recognizing and awarding pupils is an important part of the educational system. Some say that schools should simply reward students who achieve the best grades; however, I feel that rewarding students who demonstrate progress is far more reasonable. On the one hand, there are several reasons why most schools currently choose to provide rewards to students who achieve academically. To begin with, this strategy would encourage students who have mediocre or poor academic performance to look up to the greatest performers as role models to imitate. As a result, the learning atmosphere in schools may become very competitive, motivating students to put more effort into their studies in order to get good grades. Second, excellent children who are talented in certain areas may be identified, and their instructors may provide them with additional chances to develop their talents. In Vietnam, for example, many schools frequently choose exceptional students for extra lessons in order to equip them with more intellectual and depth information, allowing them to compete at a high level in national contests.

TOPIC 3

These days, people generally argue over whether teaching staffs should reward their students for their execellent academic performances or for their rapid improvements. From my perspective, it is more reasonable to encourage students through their development. First and foremost, while rewarding school children by their result will lead to an unhealthy competitive learning environment, promoting students by their usual effort will create a healthy study atmosphere. Students will be equal and be able to receive treatments as same as high-level students but not being underestimated by other students or teachers. Every students will be encouraged to work harder and gain motivation to grage highly in class's rank. Moreover, should children are rewarded by their study outcomes, weaker students will undervalue themselves as well as losing their self-esteem. They will think they might never be able to study well as other students, if teachers just keep on giving prizes to highly accomplished learners. Furthermore, this method of recognition may reduce stress and depression from students as nowadays they a facing a hugh amount of peer pressure. For example, before exams and assessments, students' stress will be decreased since they are not taking achieving high marks too seriously and relax themselves. In conclusion, while it is detable that whether teachers should award students by their eduactional outcomes or their general advances, I hold my belief that students should be rewarded for their regular efforts.

What are the benefits and drawbacks of streaming students by ability?

In this day and age, it is controversial for society to whether stream students by ability or not. Although this trend would create certain benefits, there will also be some drawbacks. On the one hand, it is undeniable to say that with streaming students by their abilities, students can perform better at school to some extent. As working with their peers who have the same ability as them, they will definitely find it easy to keep up to their pace and teachers, therefore, can work at the right speed for their students. . To illustrate, if one is put in a proper class based on his skills, he will focus and spending time in his investment with all devotion. On the other hand, streaming could damage weaker students’ self esteem, because they may lose motivation in their studies. To some students, seeing themselves in a class that has been isolated from others who are excellent is shameless. To improve this, schools should explain for students to consider it in a moderate way. Such workers are vital when new buildings are constructed or when existing buildings have to be renovated or simply maintained. Secondly, many boys and girls are not academically inclined, we can guide them in careers by doing vocational training. Throughout these training, they can identify their job which suit themself.

TOPIC 2:

There is aconcerned about whether to study university or vocational training. In my point of view, study university is more better for some reasons. Some jobs require employee a high rates of education and a college degree. Without skilled workers, society cannot function effectively. A college education prepares young people to meet high level qualifications, which is the most employers expect these days. University graduates usually get a much higher salary than people who without a university education.

Everyone is debating whether or not teachers should award pupils for their achievements or advances. Teachers, In my opinion, prizes should be given for rewarding kids who demonstrate improvement. To begin with, rewarding students based on their persistent effort would establish a healthy study environment rather than rewarding students based on their grades, which would create an unhealthy competitive learning climate. Furthermore, we should always encourage students who have had difficulty learning new materials. When students overcome obstacles, they will feel inspired and continue to improve their performance. In conclusion, I believe that rewarding students who have improved their academic performance is preferable.

most people think that vocational training is considered a dishonorable escape route for those who are not smart enough to attend colleges . These days, the scarcity of qualified craftsmen, such as construction workers, electricians or locksmiths is getting more acute, some have suggested that more people should be encouraged to undergo vocational training. From my point of view, I cast no doubt on the veracity of this statement.
There are multiple benefits that can be derived from attending trade schools, instead of universities. In the first place, programs of vocational schools are often shorter. More specifically, while college students have to commit to at least 3 years of full-time study, it takes only 1 or 2 years for students to receive certain specialised certifications. In addition, the principal focus of vocational programs is on providing hands-on experience to students and there is no need for them to study subjects that are not relevant to their choice of subject. The prime example for this is Vietnamese college students, regardless of what majors they follow, are reluctant to study concepts of the communist party while students of trade schools do not have to. For this reason, their employability is significantly enhanced. Despite such pros, many are still skeptical about taking vocational training as it does not offer much flexibility. I acknowledge that the career choices are much more limited for vocational students and that there is little chance for them to change their career if they desire to. Nevertheless, if students receive proper career orientation program before embarking on their learning, few wrong decisions will be created. All things considered, I am inclined to restate that vocational training should no longer be kept on the periphery of the educational system and that it should be encouraged among students of all levels of education.

There are lots of opposite opinions of classifying students according to theỉrabilities and its two sides are always a problem which has to be discussed at the present time. First of all is the positive side, streaming refers to the grouping of students by ability. Students within a certain ability range are grouped together as a class. In some extent students perform better at school because of the suitable environment of learning. Teachers can also be easier to work at the right speed for their students. Because of the difference in education level, high-level groups may progress faster and lower level groups can benefit from a slower pace. But the negative side, it is the distinction which could damage weaker students’ self esteem, which lead to their lack of motivation. Being underestimated, the weaker will easily be depressed. Generally, although provide students with the opportunities to have a better education, streaming students by their abilities has it own two sides: positive and negative as I have mentioned above.

In my view, I agree with the opinion that rewarding students for their improvement for several reasons. Firstly, rewarding students for their improvement could offer equal chances for every student to receive award. For example, in classes always have a good study group, so they will often be rewarded. Lower-level groups, therefore, could be damaged self esteem, so they may lose educational motivation. Another benefit is that this form of recognition follows the holistic principle of learning, which is to access the world of knowledge, not just to gain high scores. Some students cheat because of pressure, which will lead to lack knowledge and the other high academic results are not effective and they cannot achieve the world of full knowledge. On the other hand, I believe that giving encouragement to those who make strides in their studies results in more favourable outcomes. When there are reward programs, weaker students will tend to try harder because students often desire to win prizes. In conclusion, school should have rewarded activities for students with improved achievements to have more effort and competitive learning environment.

While some people agree that we should reward students who have the most excellent academic performance, others believe that it is significant to prize students who show improvement. In my opinion, I think that it is more important to reward students who show their improvement. First, when schools reward students who show enhancement, they will be received people's encouragement. Therefore, students will improve their study results that bring more favorable outcomes. It also gives equal chances among all students instead of focusing only on the best students. Thus, all students have been motivated to try harder to receive rewards. Another benefit is that this motivation follows the holistic principle of learning, which is to access the world of knowledge, not just to gain high scores. As a result, several common phenomena which occur when examinations approach, including pressure, anxiety and cheating, would be reduced. In conclusion, schools should reward students for their improvement, which may lead to many benefits for both students and teachers.

Rewarding students can be a great idea, but the important thing is that rewards are only given when behavior has been achieved. All students with excellent academic results will be paid. In my opinion, we should encourage students who are not good in their studies so that they feel respected and increase their motivation to study. But if we abuse the reward, there will be bad consequences. Students will assume that learning is not their business and they will only do well if there is a reward.

Most schools reward students who perform well in their examinations. Some people, however, feel that instead of giving prizes to academic toppers, schools should appreciate the hard work of students who show great progress by rewarding them. In my opinion, schools should reward praise students who achieve improvements for several reasons. Firstly, this could give equal chances for every student to receive awards, rather than only focus on the highest. Secondly, students who are recognized for their efforts during semesters will feel motivated if they are rewarded for making significant progress.

There is currently a heated debate on the issue of rewarding students for their result or improvement and from my perspective, I subscribe the act of rewarding students who show great improvement. First of all, students will feel motivated if they are recognized for their effort during semesters. It will instill and promote children’s belief in learning; thereby giving encouragement to those who make strides in their studies results in more favorable outcomes. Should youngsters are encouraged to put their effort into studying for the highest scores, they will have a chance to maximized their potential capability. Additionally, this could give equal chances for every student to receive awards, rather than only focus on the highest achievers. Secondly, rewarding students for their headway could create a highly competitive studying environment at school, seeing that students often desire to win prizes. Not only gifted students with excellent performances are praised but students who are recognized for their effort during semesters can also be rewarded; thereby reinforcing everyone’s exertion. In conclusion, I hold my belief that it is advisable to reward students who achieve improvements for an variety of compelling reasons.
