Timirbhu: The New World Order - Exhitition

An exhibition presents the literature “Tribhum Phra Ruang” Phraya Lithai version of Sukhothai period. The literature describes buddhist cosmology consisting of various worlds, including heaven and hell. Also the story of the birth and fall of mankind. Artists bridge the gap between literature and technology. Including the distant past and the contemporary world by bringing in computer linguistics methods to analyze literary texts and create a language model that will recompose Traibhum Phra Ruang.

A newly-defined version of the literature will be displayed along with 2D and 3D installation artworks inspired by the work process and contents from this new interpretation of “Traibhumikatha”.

Why this is my favorite: I like that he was taking collage techniques from two dimensions, moving beyond mixed media art to installation art that has elements of two-dimensional and three-dimensional objects. Moreover, He has enough knowledge to choose and use things that are meaningful and compatible with his installation art.

Loykratong artwork

This is one of the holiday greetings artwork this one is for loykratong or the first element is Ophelia(1852) which is a tragedy of her death from the famous novel Hamlet by William Shakespeare and the second element is kratong which is a thing that we float in a river to pay respect to goddess of water. From my interpretation he want to tell us that floating krathong in a river causes polluted water. He use Ophelia as a symbol of goddess of water.

His collage work can be used and published in a variety of forms such as illustration in an article or publication, a poster, and book or magazine cover.

Working process

He wisly choose every element to put in his collage to make every element have their meanings and made the overall art work can communicate properly.

He has a level of complexity in his collage work considering who is his audience in that work. For example, for a book cover, he has to make it catch the reader's eye but when the work will be in a gallery or an exhibition he can make it more complicated to suit the audience and the context.

Collage

He uses college as a medium to communicate his message. In his collage mostly consists of old artwork in different cultures, old enough to be a public domain.
He thinks that each artwork has their original value and meaning that already exist; he is the one who brings them together, adding another layer, rearranging, and retold the story in his own way.

poster for man-suang a political-thriller film tells a story that dates back to the reign of King Rama 3. Khem and Wan decide to investigate the most luxurious and mysterious entertainment club in Siam called Man Suang. So the poster very represent thainess. The headdress the drum the costume but nakrob also put some art from different culture into it seamlessly such as the baroque gate and Candelaria. Moreover a little detail you can spot if you look carefully you will see Wat Arun under construction is representing the time setting of this movie.

A packaging design for a popcorn shop from the initial idea of how to make this popcorn bag more attractive. So I decided to make an extension part to use as a handle. Then I think further if it can only be used one time it will make a lot of waste so I decided to make it as a door hanger to make customers keep and be able to use it in daily life. The door handle having 2 sides consisting a daily reminder side where you can hang inside you room their will be reminder list that made you have a good day and the other side which is don’t disturb side to use when you watching movie a good matching with our popcorn.

Daydream.co is a pillow brand that will turn other products into a pillow. It can be use as it original way and use as a pillow. With a tagline “ have a nap, have a daydream” which we want to engaged people to take a nap in a day time when they feel sleepy. According to a study, If you feel sleepy just take a nap and then continue what you are doing will be more effective than intake caffeine or just continue in the mood of sleepy.

Curstie come from the word ‘cruse’ and ‘cutie’. I use this as a theme of the typography design. Choosing a curse word and made it cute to contrast with the meaning. These show that appearance of the typography can effect the visual of it. But curse words are still cures works so don’t speak it out loud.

Cosmy is an application for tracking our cosmetic products including skin care and makeup. This application is from a problem solving based project that wants to solve the problem of forgetting the cosmetics we own and let them expire with leftovers. Therefore, the app will track the product priorities on their expiration date. However, the app also collects other information for you such as where did you buy, price, open date, frequency to use in a week and more. Moreover, There is a blacklist for listing down the one you don’t like or allergic to and a community tap to share info about cosmetics with others. Additionally, an account tap where you can store your skin type, skin tone and personal color.

a collaborative project with panpuri a Fragrance brand. He design a new year greeting packaging in the theme of Celebration and new beginnings Under the inspiration to find experiences that help fulfill physical and mental health.
let's break down the elements. Each element visually gets along with the theme also it is related to history, culture or literature. The biggest part is a dove with olive brunch, a universal icon for love and peace. The next one the floating kinda house it is a heaven in Buddhist Cosmology from literature called tri-phum Pra-ruang. Next the angle from greek mythology which is symbol of hope and happiness

A collaborative project with spectrum, an Online media that presents the issue of 'gender' in various aspects. He created a collage for fabric calendars in the theme of love and diversity. He came up with the inspiration from The School of Athens, a fresco painting from the renaissance. He thinks this painting is representative of non diversity, the arts and sciences of that time were tied to patriarchy. So in his collage version he brings elements from many eras, different cultures, different ethnicities, lifestyles, or living conditions to communicate that All of this is to expand the definition of diversity. Try to bring out the beauty of the differences. Love and diversity complement each other and lead us to freedom.moreover Both love and diversity have beautiful aspects that make the world and our society a special place.

The Hotel Soul Hugged’s corporate identity is designed for people who take time to love themselves and rest their mind and body. Guests may be those who have recently left a toxic relationship or those who have had a bad day at school, college, or work. The hotel's overall atmosphere is warm, minimal, and friendly, extending a warm hug to everyone who comes to stay. Moreover, the hotel's highlights includes a floral scented candle called bedtime, and a mirror that is designed to replicate a hug through the reflection.
