One useful tool with AR is student reading comprehension. With AR students can see words come to life in front of them. If they are unsure of what a word means, they can have the AR technology show them that word. IF the word was "homo sapien" the students could see through AR that a homo sapien is a human.

One useful tool for VR is allowing students to research a landmark. As VR offers 360 degree views of images, students can research the geographical areas around landmarks. This can be useful for students who may understand what the landmark is, but not why the landmark is relevant.

For students with sensory disabilities AR can become very useful. With AR teachers can create a lesson that is more interactive and physical. Instead of having students sit through a demonstration, they can carry out physical activity while learning. Although this isn't the most beneficial way for students with sensory disabilities to learn, it is a useful source.

For ESL learners, reading can be a very difficult task. With AR technology reading can become more beneficial in their learning. As students are reading, the words will be shown to them. This can help students who are ELS learners as their knowledge of english words would be lower. With images of the words appearing as they read, their comprehension and understanding of the words will become higher.

I was struggling to find uses for VR in reading. However, I believe VR can be very useful for history and science. One such use is through Discovery channels VR options. Students can watch videos about multiple scientific topics through Mythbusters. Mythbusters is a very useful series as it is very engaging for students and interesting. Also while solving myths, they talk about their scientific process and how they create their designs.
