         <description><![CDATA[<p><b>Materials- </b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Cambria; font-size: 16px; ">Wood is used as the base in this process, the </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Cambria; font-size: 16px; ">block of wood is carved away at to create a white part of the image and then </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Cambria; font-size: 16px; ">the rest of he wood is rubbed over with either sand paper or a chisel so </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Cambria; font-size: 16px; ">blacken the wood. want. This is a fairly quick method of printing but only after carving the
potato because that can be very time consuming, the best way to do this would
be carve everything sharply but this can take even more time, but I gives a
really clear print if you do this as well as pushing down when printing on to
fabric. Potato printing is used now days for teaching little children how to
print because it’s cheap and affective, but it is also used to make logos.
These logos aren’t completely potato printings but they could start out that
way and get turned into something digital.</span><!--EndFragment-->
