My negotiation experience is mainly limited to the daily altercations between my parents and I as a teenager. I could on forever until I reached a compromise that gave me what I wanted or was at least really close. :^)

Hey everyone! My negotiation experience happens whenever I sell or buy anything on FB Marketplace haha. Also, I used to work at a jewellery store, so there was a lot of negotiation with clients. Lastly, I negotiate a lot with my siblings too >_< I try my best when I negotiate. Always room for improvement!

Hello Everyone,

I would say I have a copious amount of negotiating experience - of course, from a myriad of altercations between my parents and I, but also from my frequent negotiations on vehicles at dealerships or online. All in all, I know I can improve and am looking at giving it 110% in this class.

Hello classmates & professor,

I know majority of you from previous classes thus far but have not had the opportunity to meet you Margaret! To give a quick and simple introduction, I'm interested in things like coding, side-hustles, sports, fashion, partying and practically all things tech. I have had a decent amount of experience in negotiating from listing/selling items on third-party platforms, but this is all online. I believe myself to be someone that is extremely personable and would make a guess that in-person negotiating is something that would come to me easily with practice.

Hello everyone,
I know a lot of you from other classes and looking forward to working together in our final semester. A quick introduction about me is that I have a passion for business, sports, and entertainment. I would love to work for a company that allows me to work in other countries or a professional sports team. My negotiation is fairly limited in terms of business aspect as I have had to use some throughout my short work career. I often sell product on Facebook Market place and use negotiation to my advantage in order to get the most value or the best price However I believe that Negotiation are used everyday by many of us and often something that we don't even realize. This is the class that I am most looking forward to and expanding my knowledge on a topic that will help me throughout my career and life. Excited to get started and learn the in and outs of negotiations.

I would say that my experience with negotiation is fairly low. I've helped sell a few horses, and bought a few things off of Facebook market place which would be the extent of my business negotiation skills. However I was known for negotiating with parents and teachers in highschool to get my way or get out of trouble.

Hello!

Like everyone else, my negotiation experience is very minimal. I occasionally sell clothes online and also bring items to a store called Plato's Closet where they offer money for clothes, purses, shoes, etc. Sometimes their offers are too small so I try negotiating a higher one as some of the items are in perfect condition and high quality (lululemon, my favourite!).

I'm excited to begin this class and meet you!

Hellooooo team,

I am a huge fan of sales and negotiating; whether trying to get a good deal on something (for myself or others) or get out of trouble, I am always up for the challenge.
I wouldn't say I'm "experienced," but I have experience negotiating and really enjoy the thrill of it. I've sold and bought many things on Facebook Marketplace, Kijiji, etc., and I've found myself negotiating prices at stores or trying to work out some deal on my next drink at a bar/pub ;)

One thing I want to refine is how much I say. I find that sometimes I say too much when there is a "shorter" or "better" way of saying it. "Less is more."

I am looking forward to meeting you, Margaret.

Good Day friendssss!

My only real experience with negotiations would be my parents taking my siblings and me to the shop markets. Watching my dad negotiate to get us the best things at a lower price was inspiring; my brothers and I would then go to the shopkeeper at the corner of our building to test his methods and would obviously fail.
I am excited to learn some real methods in this class!
