NYC to Washington DC

3.5 hr by train take morning train reach about 11 am and take night train (8 or 9 pm type) back to nyc the next day. Train ticket about $60 to and back.

explore places of interest as below and continue next day to complete.

1) White house and washington moument

2) Lincoln memorial

3) World war II memorial

4) Smithsonian National air & space museum

5) US capitol & the library of congress

6) Planet Word

7) National building

If visited too many memorial , we can go for potomac cruise or Potomac park and georgetown walking for food the next day before back to nyc. (location pretty closed to Lincoln memorial).

Go for cupcake in George town.

Look for Francis Scott Key memorial bridge , take a leisure stroll down NW ave a must see destination in DC.

Take train back to NYC
