So Labuan Bajo has been the most beautiful place i've ever been to. One of the most memorable memory I had is when i had to go up to 800 stairs to go on top of Padar Island. But unfortunately, my stomach got hurt and I have to go take a dumb somewhere. So I rushed my way up, take a picture, and with all of my andrenaline i ran back down 800 stairs. Sadly, there were no toilets at the bottom, and I was dying. So the staff in there led me to a cabin, which was in the middle of the jungle. We ran all the way through the shore and forest, and at last my journey comes to an end. I saw a cabin with deer surrounding it. So peacefully, i get to do my business while enjoying a beautiful scenery of deer walking around.

Two months ago in Jogja right after PPSSMB. I was looking in a mirror and saw my hair that's quite longish (I'm a male) I comb it and strands of my hair fell onto the ground. I thought to myself, maybe I should cut my hair in a new style to make myself look cooler.

So I entered a barbershop and showed the barber a photo of a guy with a long hairstyle that looked neat. I thought it will look good on me. One of my happiest memory I can remember is the memory of me and my late grandpa. He passed away when I was in primary school so I don't really have a lot of memory with him. But one thing I'm really sure is I really loved it when I was back home from kindergarten and he would lift and swing me around. That was my best and purest laugh.
My grandpa used to work as what we called as "tukang tambal ban", me and my cousin had a fun thing to do which was watching him doing his job. Then as a curious little kids we played with his repairing tools and he would tell us to stay away because it's dangerous. Yet of course we still played again and again.
Last but not least, my grandpa was that one person who taught me how to ride a bicycle. He brought me and my cousin to an empty field with our bikes, then firstly he would grab our bikes with a wooden stick to make sure we felt safe. He told us to ride it slowly, then we ride it faster little by little.
The fun thing is, without us knowing, he would let off the stick from our bikes and let us ride it by ourselves. His intention was to make us confident and brave to ride a bike. That's why I had many wounds when I was little because I fell off so many times, or hit the bushes. Yet it was a memorable story to tell, I really really miss my grandpa.

It was Wednesday, June 20, 2023. The weather was not as bright as usual. Overcast clouds came to cover the light from the sun. I woke up in the morning to prepare myself for the bumn selection test at that time. I asked my mom and dad not to interupt me during the exam period. Time after time passed, I finally finished my selection test. But unfortunately, my score was two points short of qualifying for the next stage. I was very disappointed at first because I had prepared everything as well as I could. My disappointment got worse until it caused excessive fear considering that later in the afternoon was the announcement of UTBK pass.

My fear and disappointment got worse, making me feel pessimistic that I could pass the announcement later. I still vividly remember the disappointment a few months earlier when I failed to pass the SNBP selection. I was so pessimistic. I was afraid to open the announcement, so I delayed it for more than an hour. I fell asleep and my father woke me up to open the announcement. I nervously started to open the SNMPMB web. I deliberately didn't take any pictures because I was too pessimistic about myself.

The miracle came when I successfully entered my exam number and opened the announcement page. At first I was confused because from the beginning I was sure I was rejected, so I was confused to find the location of the sentence "Jangan Putus Asa". So, I refreshed the announcement page and the result remained the same. This happened three times. I tried to read it more carefully and how surprised I was to know that I passed the SNBT selection and was accepted to my first choice, Applied English of UGM. I, myself, have decided that I want to go to university. When I was a first-year student, I thought that computer science would probably suit me. But, after a lot of thinking during the pandemic that happened at that time, I came to the conclusion that I want to go to an English major.

When the time came for us to choose the major that we wanted to pick, I picked the English literature major as my first pick and the applied English major as my second. Both of the majors that I picked are at UGM.

At first, a lot of people said to me, "Are you really sure to pick both of them at UGM?" As UGM is a really hard university to get into. Even my parents said that, worrying that I might exceed my expectations. But, at that time, I just said, "It is what I want; if I don't get in, there is still a 'Ujian Mandiri' programme, it's okay."

Fast forward to after the test and on the day of the announcement. I am really worried about the result. I sat with my mom to see it. "Wow, I really got in" That was my reaction as I saw that I got into the Applied English major at UGM. I am really glad that I took that risk at that time.

i recently got into an organization just to realized that i'm so different from everyone here (i'm poor). when we had our first weekly meeting, everyone brought a laptop. the only person who didn't bring a laptop is me and there's also this one kid (but he brought a 2023 ipad pro). everybody gave me this stare. this kinda "laptopless" stare. felt like they're judging me for life. also this organization is having a conference in a few weeks and it's mandatory for everyone but we have to pay for it. and the amount that they asked is my whole months salary. i thought joining this organization is good for me but it actually just made me realized how poor i am. Growing up, I was always accompanied by my mom all the time. So, my decision to go to college that far from my hometown made my mom terrified. My mom then followed me and stayed in Jogja for a month. The last few days before my mom had to go back to our hometown, I took my mom to the Thailand Food Fair which was held in Jogjakarta City Mall. I truly enjoyed every second I spent with her and I held her hand all the time. We enjoyed many unique Thailand foods there and I even took her to see an art exhibition inside the mall. Inside the exhibition she recalled many memories of her childhood and told me many things. Finally, the day has come and me and my mom says good bye. We laughed and cry and now I have to live alone in a big city. Gratefully I met a lot of amazing and precious people that help me get through the hard time.

They have their own handwriting named Kanji, Katakana, and Hiragana which all of them shaped different to each other.
A kanji traditionally has two readings, the on-yomi meanings known as "Chinese reading", and the kun-yomi reading known as "Japanese reading". If one usually only has two or even three on-yomi readings, the number of kun-yomi readings can quickly increase. Glima

Glima, otherwise known as Scandinavian wrestling, is the national sport of Iceland. It was a martial art previously used by the vikings way back when and has developed and modernized into a common sport practised around Iceland. In Old Norse, the term “glima” translates to “glimpse” or “flash”, which is aimed to represent the different techniques used in the sport. These different techniques include things like kicks, throws, chokeholds, locks and blows. They can also include both pain and weapon techniques, meaning it’s not a sport for the faint hearted.

Knattleikr is more of a game that is played in Iceland, however, like Glima, this was another game/sport that dates back to the Viking past of Iceland. It was often believed to be a game of strength where the strongest and more imposing team had the greatest chance of winning.

Handball

Handball is less of a traditional Icelandic sport, though it is one that is played a lot across the country with some of the national teams going on to compete across Olympic games. The men's team actually took the silver medal for Handball back in the Beijing Olympics in 2008.

Handball in Iceland is often regarded as the most popular sport in Iceland with many choosing to participate in teams and competitions. In fact, in terms of modern games, it would be considered the national sport of Iceland.
