Fouad Massoum is very strict within laws and really thinks that he deserves to be the president of Iraq. These laws are made by Fouad Massoum (the President) or Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi. Laws exemplify, legal child marriage, forced marriage, and strictly against cyber bullying. Voting is extremely important and the legal age to vote is 18 but, most of the protests are violent and unnecessary. In the constitution of Iraq they limit freedom of press  constitution Iraq limits freedom of press, association, assembly, and expression.

They import large amounts of food that is grown on a farm. On the other hand, Iraq's currency is very poor because of how they lost a good amount of oil. Their currency is the Iraqi Dinar. One Iraqi dinar is equivalent to 0.00085 USD. Saddam Hussein was the President in 1979 and caused the war of Ba'ath. In the war of Ba'ath the president decided to bomb Iran which then led to the war of Ba'ath. The war ended in stalemate with hundred of thousands of people dead. Another war is the War in Iraq. Many countries do not want Iraq to have weapons of mass destruction, let alone use it against them. When Saddam Hussein did not cooperate countries charged with violent crimes and countries set sanctions. He was sentenced to death and in 2006 he was executed and this caused division in the country. Iraq's name was meant to mean across lakes. Greeks first owned the land and then the muslims established the country.  After the war between Iraq and Britain they had a lot to clean and most of their oil plants exploded and that is where they got all of there money. Lastly, right after the new year a truck was coming out of a town and bombed over 100 people.

A very important holiday is the Iraqi Independence day on October 3rd. The reason that they celebrate this is that they have independence over Britain. Another important holiday in Iraq is A Surah which is a very important person in Iraqi history, this holiday is celebrated on September 29th and ends on the 30th. They also make most of their clothes by hand. Women usually wear dresses or half cut shirts and jeans. Kids go to school and are administered by the Ministry of Education which helped Iraq's literacy rate to 100%. Studies show that 83.7 of men can read and 73.7% of women can read. On the other hand, men and women work to reconstruct their country after all of the wars, they get paid equally and a good amount. Another dance is called dah cuba which is when they dance in groups on different holidays. On the other hand, there is plenty of music in Iraq. They have all different kinds of music from rock pop to soul. Other than computers, cell phones do not exist because there is not good wifi or really nowhere to get it other than at coffee shops. Also, public telephones are not available either because the same reason as telephones there is not wifi and it is really hard to reach it. They now use tv’s to entertain themselves. To watch TV they need internet which is new in Iraq. There are not many places you can get internet though other than coffee shops. Another way that they use communication is postal services to send letters or notes.
