http://www.humanillnesses.com/Behavioral-Health-A-Br/Body-Image.html

What I can get from this resource is what leads to body image problems, In the website it mentions that body image are affected by what they see in television or in social media. Also magazines are filled with pictures of thin models and beautiful young women which causes young people to be insecure about themselves; menstruation and puberty causes bloating on the body which makes it look like you're "fat". Everything is mentality which girls or boys overthink how they look like and that is how they start to feel insecure about themselves.

https://www.heretohelp.bc.ca/factsheet/body-image-and-self-esteem

What I can get from this resource is it shows you steps on how to love yourself and always have a positive mind. Some things you can do to have a positive feeling about yourself is treat your body with respect by always taking care of it by eating balanced meals, exercising which may be hard at first to start a healthy living but your body would really appreciate it. To always have good self-esteem about yourself is dress with clothes you feel comfortable with and never dress to impress others, dress for yourself.

https://kidshealth.org/en/teens/body-image.html

What I can get from this source is that we have to accept on how we look like. Nobody is perfect and there is no such thing as the perfect body we should never talk bad about our bodies cause that brings our self-esteem more down. We should always build a better habit on changing what things can be better for yourself to achieve that "perfect" body image. Find things to like about your looks, focus on what your body can do, and be aware of your body

https://www.mirror-mirror.org/body-image-of-women.htm

What I can get from this resource is that there are many factors that may contribute to a female body image, we live in a culture where if you are not thin or beautiful you are no ono. Women go to very hard diets with they damage themselves in the inside since they are not putting in the nutrients inside their body. Eating disorders are often, though not always and not directly, related to negative body image, but if negative body image alone caused anorexia then every person on the planet would develop anorexia and yet still feel bad of their body image.

https://www.eatingdisorderhope.com/blog/positive-uses-social-media-body-image-advocacy

What I can get from this source is that media can promote body image positively. Social media can create a sense of community that makes tackling body image issues feel less isolating. Many popular brands add pictures in their websites or magazines by showing diverse body types, as in different heights, shapes, and skin tones.

Self-compassion, which you accept your 'flaws' or your 'mistakes' and that is part of being a human. Women who show self-compassion, show lower shame on their bodies never compare their bodies to other women and they never worry on how they look. Studies has also demonstrated explore various images in social media with hashtags promoting self-compassion would buffer women's self-esteem.

For example, instead of thinking about what you don't like about your body think on what your body can do. Pick a body part that you love and talk out loud about it, it might sound silly but a can be a powerful tool in fighting body image. Always talk the good things about yourself and have a positive mind.

Always have a lot of self care to be a better you. Meditation is a way to center yourself, all you need to do is find a quiet, comfortable, space and just have a moment for yourself. Have a mindful movement and is not always exercising or working out is about tuning your body and asking yourself what does it need. Surround yourself with positive and joyful people and find your place of bliss. Breathe. Eat slowly. Rest. Be positive and love yourself.
