-  I started learning to tell stories from a professional story teller Sheila Wee five years ago at a 2 day story telling workshop when I wanted to tell better stories to my kid.

My personal experience in story telling in immense. Arnold Schwarzenegger is one of the Champion i know about him in body building before i saw him in the movie. His life along is a huge story.

I heard from a audio book before that in the past, the history are pass down thru stories. Stories round the fire and bedtime grandfather stories are ways history lesson are pass down. Stories create a impression and it let's people remember  it and share it again. 

through the years, i hear about stories thru grandparents, uncles, friends and stranger. The best is in my poly days during Camping we gather into small groups and talk about jokes, stories and rumour/ gossip, haha. Not forgeting all the Ghost stories in our army camp in tekong.... actually some turn out to be true..... Do you want to know the stories? haha ha

I used to do a lot of camping, and usually camps we will tell stories to each other before turning in for the night. As there are no entertainment in the outdoors and when we force ourselves to go..."primal", the only way to keep each other from being bored is to tell stories.
