#1
Basically, there is no linear relationship between distance and airfare. For example, Denver is farther away than New York, but New York is almost $200 more expensive. I personally think that airfare should be determined by the distance from your main destination because the farther the distance, the more it costs the airline.

#4
The slope equation is y=mx+b. For this graph, it is y=0.1329x+319.3. The slope is 0.1329 and the y-intercept is 319.3. The y-intercept is where the line crosses the line intercept.

#5
To find how much the airfares should differ, you should pick two points on the graph, plug it into x in the equation, y=0.1329x+319.3 and do that twice, then subtract them to find the difference. For example, the two points are 100 and 300. You do y=0.1329(100)+319.3. This equals 332.59. For 300, you do y=0.1329(300)+319.3 and that equals 359.47. You then subtract those two and get $26.88 for how much the airfare should differ.

#6
Little r equals 0.92. The line fits the data by being a strong positive correlation because it is close to 1 which is a perfect correlation.

#7
To find the cost of flying 1600 miles would be $531.94. We found this by using the equation y=0.1329x+319.3. We plugged in 1600 for x and found our answer.
