Veda is a Sanskrit word which means ‘Knowledge’.           
2. Vedic Mathematics is a system of mathematics which was discovered by India mathematician Jagadguru Shri Bharathi Krishna Tirthaji.
3. Jagadguru Shri Bharathi Krishna Tirthaji is father of Vedic Maths. He was born in 14th March 1884 and he died on 2nd February 1960. His father name was P.Narsimha Swami.
4. He worked under Gopal Krishna Gokhale 1905 for the National Education Movements and the South African Indian proplems.
