We get to sew all kinds of culturally things and even the animals we harvest and eat for the winter months. The children can learn the things we sew and gain knowledge about how we hunt or use for life purposes. It is also important for the girls to see and know how the ladies hand craft or sew the items we make so that they can learn how by observing them.

  • it feels great to get off of our tablet to sew and make new things to use with the kids.

  • We make stuffed toys, sensory toys.

  • Kids can play pretend hunting with them, or naming what animals they are.

  • For example here is Nanuq chasing a Tuktu.
