It has come to my attention that you have some sad and bored looking tigers locked up in your zoo. This is very heartbreaking because they are far away from their family and their natural habitat. 

Tigers need to run around in a large thick jungle and hunt for wild animals to eat. By locking them up, they become lazy and incapable of hunting for animals. For example, monkeys, mice, rabbits, pythons, bears and crocodiles are tiger’s favourite prey. The problem with this is that when you finally release them into the wild, when, they will not know how to hunt for their meals. Please release a tiger or two.

Please let the animals be free, especially the birds that need their own freedom for their true beauty to show. Birds should fly freely in the air, not kept in cages. Birds are harmless and shouldn't be caged. We should respect the birds and give them good food. They will live a happy life if they are free. 

Birds love being in their natural habitat in the wild. People enjoy looking at animals at zoos , but that is not a good reason to keep animals in zoo. Birds, elephants, lions, tigers and many other animals should be left alone to live in their natural habitat in the wild.

It has come to my attention that you are currently housing a dazzle of zebras from Africa in your zoo. There are three species of zebras in the world - Plain, Mountain and Grevy’s zebra.  I understand that the zebras in Zoo Negara belong to the Grevy’s zebra family.   

Grevy’s zebra is the largest zebra in the world and the rarest one among the zebra species. It is hard to come across because they are depleting in number. We should let them be free and send them back to Africa. 

Naturally, zebras like running on the big fields. They can run fast in a zigzag pattern to avoid predators, such as lions. If they are locked in cages, they will lose their freedom, and can no longer run happily and explore in the wild.

I hope you will set them free.  Thank you.

It has come to my attention that you have kept a lot of animals in isolation. If you keep housing lone animals, other zoo keepers will keep caging animals like you. 

So, you need to stop caging animals like hippopotamus, eagles and more. You need to free them, because they miss their family so much and they will miss exploring in the wild.

Hippopotamus need a lot of mud, water and a warm climate to survive. I urge you to return these isolated animals to their natural habitat. If you keep caging them, you need to feed them the right food. For example, large aquatic animals eat fish, snail and smaller aquatic animals eat algae. Again, these are things that you are not able to supply for these animals to ensure a healthy life for them.

It has come to my attention that you are currently housing a lonely horse in your zoo. I believe that this is disastrous for the animal and may set an awful precedent that other  zoos may decide to follow. I urge you to return the isolated animal to its natural habitat.

If the horse has been fully domesticated, it no longer has a 'wild' nature. Wide open spaces and a blanket of grass are where horses belonged. Horses are social animals and they live in groups known as herds. 

These creatures also require maintenance of hooves, teeth and several vaccinations. Without proper vaccinations, they can catch deadly diseases. It is important to note that necessary veterinary care is quite expensive. Again, these are things that you are not able to provide.

It has come to my attention that wild Black Rhinos from South Africa have been caged by the zoo.I appeal to you to release them back into their natural habitat. 

First and foremost, the zoo cannot provide large amount of space that these ginormous, helpless creatures need. Rhinoceroses require lots of food otherwise they will go hungry. These magnificent animals require mud to cool down.  

I believe that animals should have the right to roam around instead of being trapped in their cages. Also Rhinos help nature by dispersing the seeds from the fruit to a different destinations. 

For these reasons I believe that these wonderful creatures should be released back into the wild.

It has come to my attention that you have bought a toucan to be kept in the zoo. Of course, the zoo visitors will be happy to see the toucan.But what about the toucan? Will it be happy? 

The toucan will be happy in its natural habitat - the forest. It needs space to fly in the sky with other birds. This environment will make the toucan a free bird and not a captive. Toucans survive on fruits and insects. You wouldn't be able to give the best diet and climate to the toucan by isolating it. So I appeal to you to free the toucan.

It has come to my attention that you are currently housing an ambush of tigers in your zoo - the Sumatran Tiger, Siberian Tiger, Bengal Tiger, South China Tiger, Malayan Tiger and Indochinese Tiger. Many of these tiger are endangered. They are very special and precious animals, so we should not hurt them by caging them up in a small place. 

Zoos don’t give them freedom. The tigers need to hunt for themselves in the wilderness. Wild animals ain’t for keeping as pets or in the cage for people to see. The tigers won’t be happy because they can’t live with nature. I hope you will set them free.
