In all criminal prosecutions, the accused person should enjoy the right to a fast and public trial, by a jury of the State and district where the crime was committed; which district should previously be responsible by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the crime. To be able to have a witness; to have the right of obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense. This law gives me the right to have a witness in a jury in case  I did something bad that got me in so much trouble I had to go to court.

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or a infamous crime, unless a in a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Military, when in actual service in time of War or public danger, neither shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb, or shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, or to be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.
