Mesopotamia had many fertile soil due the seasonal raining. Once people started to settle where the fertile soil was, they took advantage of it so that they can grow a lot of crops. Many people that lived near the rich soil, had the advantage of growing a lot of good crops. Another reason why they settled in Mesopotamia was the terrain. Mesopotamia was flat, with few mountains and few forests. This could also be an advantage because they could grow crops easily, their routes to get to other cities were flat and they could build their houses with no problem. The final reason why they settled was the Euphrates and Tigris river. This rivers helped them to grow water and survive. They built waterways, and ditches so that they could get more access to the water. The system they made helped them grow crops better.

The people who lived in Mesopotamia Believed that the first philosopher studied there. They believed that there was a war between gods and chaos. The gods won the battle. But even do that the gods have won, chaos could come back. Mesopotamians practiced funerals, and they had their special rituals. Even do the Mesopotamians will respect the death of someone, they would also show respect to their gods.
