Theodore was born on October 27, 1858. He was a short and stout with big teeth and a very colorful personality. He first stared out as vice president and when president McKinley was assassinated Theodore took the throne. I think Theodore was very successful in solving the monopoly problem because he passed the Sherman Anti-Trust Act.

Theodore Roosevelt impacted a lot of lives by banning monopolies. Not only did this help in the 1800s but also today because the law is still being in forced. Its preventing companies from being the only one selling a product, which destroys the competition allowing the prices to sky rocket! If there was only one store that sold grocery's that store would charge what every they wanted because they were the only place to get grocery's. People would then have no choice but to buy the outrageously priced grocerys if they wanted to eat.
